She had always liked solving problems that way.

Yelena was afraid... afraid her sister would scold her.

Yu Yachen smiled, patting her head.
She would have done the same thing.

"Yelena, you head home by yourself. I have something else to do."
She gave Yelena the key and walked back the way they came.
Yu Yachen was starting to understand the logic of the "simulation."
The timeline was malleable. She had rescued Yelena from 1082... but the "present" in Lungmen was still 1094. It was a dream, projected into the target's (FrostNova's) mind.
In this "dream," she retained her memories and powers, while others acted on their real-world logic. And... there were no real-world consequences.
Therefore, Yu Yachen had a bold idea.
She was going to experiment with Killer Queen's [Third Bomb]: [Under Pressure].
She had already... "tested" it on a "subject" several times. The results were very successful.
She walked to the Lungmen Guard Department, waved at the front desk, and went straight to Ch'en Huijie's office.

Assuming they were a couple, Hoshiguma cheerfully left, leaving them alone.
"Good afternoon, Little Ch'en."
Yu Yachen smiled, walking over and perching brazenly on the edge of Ch'en's desk. She held up a plastic bag.
"I brought you some rice noodle rolls."
"Why are you here... Master—"
Realizing what she had just said, Ch'en's face flushed. She slapped a hand over her own mouth.
"Officer Ch'en... is that kind of person? If you talk like that, won't people hear you?"
Yu Yachen couldn't help but smile.
