The Beast came .
First to tackle it was Lumian's echo . Taking it on as if equal in power .
An echo did not retain the full power of a feature but it was close . With the relatively not big gap between Dormant and Awakened Creatures , his echo was a Trump card in the card .
Lumian launched his kunai while charging . While Sara launched her Knife memory by hand . As the Beast was pined down by the echo at that moment . Both hit carving deep wounds onto the beast .
A moment later Lumian's spear was upon it .
The spear hit the beast carving a slash . Sara's cutlass came next .
The agonizing beast changed its target and lunged at Lumian .
Lumian in anticipation dodged before the beast could attack further jabs came from the echo and Sara's strong kick gave a deadly blow .
Still not fully deterred a paw struck Lumian leaving straight marks though not deep .
The Lion now more agonized roared . It's roar was too loud and had a mystical effect that made lumian stunned .
" As expected Awakened Creatures are never simple beasts" Lumian thought.
As lumian was stunned and paralyzed at the moment . The lion beast lunged onto him .
With trembling hands lumian held our hus spear defending himself from its maw . But his paws stretched at lumian's chest tearing through his Cloak.
At that time with beast on top him Lumian for the first felt the fear of being prey .
At this thankful his echo now at move lunged at the beast .
In a moment Lumian also stood up and charged at the Lion beast .
His echo was trying to hold down the creative but was bring teared down flesh by flesh .
Lumian's once again summoned kunai launched and hit the creature . Thought not so more effective against an awakened hide it was still his most trusted weapon . Lumian spear now came on to the creature .
From the side Sara also came with her legs and rapier .
Both of them lunged upon the beast .
It's ferociousness made it dodge initial strikes . But continous beat down by two individuals with a little battered echo holding it was too much for it to handle the moment .
Another roar resounded rendering them immobile but Lumian along with Sara had already made a distance as soon as signs of it roaring came.
Their immobilesness did not last as long . But still the beast charged and came close to Lumian .
It was likely that nightmare creatures had their preference of humans over something like Echoes.
Lumian parried is time holding off the creature's frontal attack .He dodged and tried to maintain a distance but the features paws still hut Lumian . Using his Soothing Simultaneously he continued parrying with the spear . The echo came launched jabs the beast the beast in hurry bit down the Echoes hands but a clever kick from the echo sent it reeling back .
Sara's knife now struck . Along came her rapier and terrifying constant kicks . The echo launched jabs and kicks. Lumian once again sent his kunai flying launching a good strike .
Using his concealing ability Lumian launched a very lethal strike with his spear .
Sara paired it up with a cutlass strike and lethal kicks . As the once again pinned down creature prepared to roar .
Lumian and Sara once made distance .
Their immovable state was now even weaker .
This time the creature changer his favorite target and lunged on Sara .
She parried with her rapier keeping it at bay .
As lumian closed the distance with his Cloak planning to launch a sudden lethal strike .
A sudden shreak emanated as lumion's field of vision saw Sara's legs being bitten by the lion beast .
His picked his pace and ran with utmost urgency .
Sara initially agonizing struck the creature's eye with her cutlass while delivering a kick to its lower jaw .
Quickly the echo punched the beast down although it was then started being teared down . Lumian arrived his spear launching a lethal strike . The creature lunged on lumian
Lumian parried it's strike but now the beast in its utter madness was too ferocious and bit down on lumian's legs .
Lumian screamed in sudden pain as he thrust his spear onto the creature's other eye thrusting onto its head .
As lumian was Soothing and trying to put his spear further down . His echo came and snarched the tattered wolf . Pulling it with strikes of revenge and sending it rolling with a quick .
At the same time Lumian's Kunai was sent flying and struck the creature the trusted weapon once again shoeing its worth .
The echo beat and pinned down the wolf . As Sara in that vicinity struck with her cutlass and with her non injured leg kicked its tattered neck .
The creature's neck was crushed as it's struggles fell silent .
"It's another form of beheading huh...what's up with us beheading everything , well though this battle was very difficult it was pretty cool , to the downside if would be hell if we would have to fight more of these Awakened creatures" Lumian thought .
Lumian got to quick work using his Soothing on Sara . The creature's soul shard was acquired being earned by Sara .
They made quick stowing away some meat and leaving the vicinity to avoid creatures attracted by the smell of blood .

Three beings walked together limping . Two of them human . One a battered down rabbit .
He had kept his echo out as there was no guaranty there would not be more powerful abominations awaiting them in their journey .
Sara had recieved a Memory. Apparently some boots with other functions.
"The Spell is very accommodating huh..." Lumian thought.
The crushing was also beginning on the island that they had to endure through .As they were together ready to lay face down .
Their peripheral vision was sight of a griffin soating the skies gliding down toward them .
As lumian prepare to fight anticipating a gruesome fight or death for that matter , The griffin looked pretty strong .
As it came close as Lumian saw a person atop it .
A man in his early thirties was atop the griffin with a pretty handsome face .
He scrutinized the limping beings for a moment before descending .
Lumian's foggy memory jogged as he thought ' It's Master Roan '
Master Roan now on the ground shouted " I am Master Roan of the white feather state your name and rank "
Both of them shouted around unison " Lumian , Sara , we are both sleepers who would like to seek your assistance in reaching a citadel "
It was basic courtesy to do this .
Master Roan After some more basic questioning said " Get ready for the crushing and desummon it if you want , you wouldn't want that tattered thing destroyed ." He jestured to his blood covered and tattered echo .
Their feet was already straining hard as Lumian laid down fave down desummoning his echo .
" Unless some creature at the corrupted level from the underside of the islands has personal vendetta against me , I would probably be fine and safe now " Lumian thought .
After enduring the blunt of the crushing .
They got onto Master Roan's Griffin echo and departed .
Lumian's 10 days through the Dream Realm had ended .

How was the chapter ? The arc's coming to and end . I felt it was goodly paced . The Spell sends sleepers to trial , I feel like defeating a Awakened beast was enough of a final boss.
Prolonging it too much would just make it boring . Anyway the real slice of life will begin . The pacing will go down the bin . Tell me if you like my trash writing and butchering of the genre writing then.
