After breakfast, Adam started wandering around the Black Bulls Headquarters, seeing if he could encounter a Magic Beast.
Preferably something related to the twelve zodiac signs.
"Where am I going to find a Magic Beast near the Royal Capital?!"
Adam roared, frustrated that the Black Bulls weren't giving him a mission. He felt stifled.
Was he going to have to clean the entire castle like Asta to pass the time? "No, I need to go back and check."
Adam flew towards the Black Bulls Headquarters. As soon as he reached the entrance, he heard a commotion inside.
"My spatial magic can only go to places I've already been. I'm truly sorry," Finral said, shrugging his shoulders with a helpless expression.
"No choice then. To hunt wild Magic Pigs in Sosshi Village, we'll have to fly there on brooms," Magna sighed.
"Senior, I don't have magic, so I can't fly," Asta shouted.
"My magic is out of control, so I can't fly," Noelle said with a proud look.
"You two, is that something to be proud of?"
Magna grabbed Asta by the collar and shook him, looking utterly resigned.
"Is there a mission?" Adam walked in then, a smile on his face. "I'll take them. Senior, you use your broom!"
"Adam!"
Magna's expression was a little unnatural. Was this guy a bit petty? He, as a Senior, hadn't held a grudge even after being hit, but this arrogant Junior...
"Senior, don't overthink it, because this is my first time trying too!"

Adam pointed his hand at the red carpet. A dazzling light flashed, and the red carpet floated upwards.
"What kind of magic does this guy even use?"
Magna's pupils dilated as he stared in astonishment at the red carpet floating in mid-air.
"Adam! You've actually improved! I definitely won't lose to you!"
Asta roared.
"Come on, Noelle!"
Adam jumped onto the red carpet, extended his hand, and pulled Noelle up.
"Let's go!"
The four-person team flew towards Sosshi Village...
"These should be enough!"
Adam placed the wild Magic Pigs on the red carpet. The weight of eight Magic Pigs almost made the red carpet collapse.
"That's too cruel..."
Magna's mouth twitched slightly. This kid's eyes lit up at the sight of food, and with one energy blast, he had roasted these Magic Pigs to medium-rare.
"Let's go, off to Sosshi Village."

Sosshi Village was enveloped in mist, the surroundings a vast expanse of white, nothing visible.
"This isn't the old man's magic, is it? It doesn't look like the Diamond Kingdom either," Magna said, puzzled.
"Asta, take out your demon sword and charge in!"
Adam's expression was solemn as he casually threw the Magic Pigs to the ground.
Sure enough, when their classic combination got together, things wouldn't be so simple.

"Your sword can cut through all magic!"
"Huh? I didn't even know that?"
Asta pulled out his rusty demon sword and started swinging it wildly.

Magna directed Asta to charge towards the center of the village.
Before he became a Magic Knight, he was a regular here.

Asta swung his demon sword, and wherever it passed, the mist dispersed.
The villagers and the mayor were all in front of the church, covered in dirt, as if they had been beaten.
"Execution!"
A middle-aged man with ice-blue hair and a large scar on his face waved his hand downwards.
Countless Ice Spikes above the villagers began to fall.
"Super Dragon Blast!"
"Chain Fireball!"
Adam and Magna attacked the Ice Spikes falling from above.
Bang, bang, bang!
The Ice Spikes were shattered and vanished.
Magna quickly ran forward. Old Man Secci lay on the ground, his life or death unknown.
"Hey, Old Man!" Magna shouted anxiously.
"Who are you people?" Asta asked the unknown individuals with a serious expression.
"Lord Sis, the mission didn't say there would be Magic Knights here, did it?"
A servant in an ice-blue robe behind Sis said.
Sis's expression remained unchanged, and he said in a cold tone, "The Black Bulls, heretics of the Magic Knights. Treating them as opponents is a waste of time."
"Ice Ball!"
Sis condensed a huge ice ball and shot it towards Asta.
"I'll cleave it!"
Asta jumped up and split the ice ball with a single sword strike.
Bang!
The ice ball split in two, and Asta continued to charge forward.
"Phantom Mist!"
The ice-robed person raised his hand and spewed out a large amount of white mist.
"Why are you treating everyone like this!"
Asta unleashed an angry slash, and the mist disappeared.
"Everyone? These inferiors are nothing but filthy beasts."
Sis's condescending expression made Adam's face contort in rage.
"Even all the way out here, there's still this kind of foul-mouthed man."
Adam was furious. What kind of world was this? No humility at all. It was awful.
"Shut up! The beasts you speak of, I will protect them!"
Asta roared.
"Is that so? Then let's see!"
Sis condensed countless Ice Spikes and sent them flying towards the villagers.

This was Adam's weakness, and also Asta's and Magna's weakness.
To protect the villagers, they could only deal with these countless Ice Spikes first.

"Members of the Black Bulls, the time for a counterattack has come!"
