Just that tiny touch was enough to tighten Blair's throat, to cause him to breathe in a little deeper. And with his superior shifter senses, Nikita must have sensed it, because he smirked just a tiny bit.
"A shame," Nikita said. "That Eli interrupted us. There were a lot of things I wanted to do to you."
Licking rainwater off his lips, Blair straightened his shoulders and nuzzled up into Nikita's hands.
"You can... do things to me whenever you want," he murmured.
Taking a single, meter-long stride, Nikita backed Blair up against one of the thick-trunked pine trees that bordered the path.
"Like now?" he said, looming over Blair with his substantial height.
