Crazy doesn't define what was happening.
Ava's heart was pounding a million times more than usual as she stepped into the room with the man. Part of her screamed this was a bad idea, and a little part assured her it was fine. That she needed this to fix herself.
Maya had given her an assuring look, mouthing that she would be fine and she would be close. At least she knew this man won't hurt her, considering Maya boyfriend looked to be in a high position in this club.
But as the door shut behind him, Ava's breath seized.
The lounge room was large. The walls were painted grey, and a floor-to-ceiling window was buried behind the thick dark curtains. A large bed sat in the middle, the marble floor sleek.
"Are you alright?" The man Carson asked as he approached the nearby drawer.
"Yeah," Ava's voice was small. Her hands clutched her purse tight. "Do you live here?"
"No. It's a lounge I rented for tonight," he said. "You don't like it here?"
Ava shook her head. "Oh no, it's fine."
He poured out two glasses of alcohol and handed one to her.
She shook her head. "I don't drink."
"You're going to need it. Trust me."
"Trust? We literally just met."
"That's the fun part," he still offered.
Ava wtook a deep breath and accepted the drink, then whispered a thank you. She made sure he drank first before she did the same. The content flooded her tongue. Cherry flavor.
She loved cherries.
"How many times have you been in here?" she asked.
"A few times. I joined the club last year. Most of the time I watched."
"So why did you approach me?"
"Because," he took a step forward, reaching to tuck the loose hair behind her ears. "I like and wish to dominate you."
Sounds creepy. Maybe she should leave. Maybe the right place she should be right now is curled up in her bed, watching a movie or working on the resume for her internship application.
Grayson doesn't even know she was here, and her phone wasn't with her. Devices are prohibited, so she and Maya left their phones in the car.
The man pulled out a file and a pen, offering them to her.
"What is this?" She asked as she took the file from him.
"An agreement. I'm not allowed to dominate you unless we have a contract between us. It's a way to prove you've accepted."
Ava's brow knitted as she glanced down at the file. It contains several questions about her sex preference. What he can do to her and what he shouldn't. The bottom of list made her head go haywire.
Flogging. Stretching. Electrical play. Pain. Blood play… What the fuck?
"Uhm… Can we skip this?" She said. "And… just make me aroused. I don't want to do all these playthings. All of them…"
"Okay. Okay," he said quickly. "Sorry, I shouldn't have given you that. "I'm sorry." He took the file from her and tossed it away. "I don't do extreme, and since this is your first time, you'd be the one to tell me what to do. You rule."
Ava swallowed, her heart in her throat. "Kiss me."
In a breath crossed the distance between them. One of his hands went for her waist, and Ava felt it.
This time, she held it back. Even as Carson drew her closer and pressed his lips against her.
Just a little longer, Ava. Hold on a little…
Her mouth acted on their own. She opened it, prompting him to continue immediately, and took a step closer to him and he continue before they new his hand slid into her top rubbing her
Ava's breath was a little ragged and before she knows her hand acted on her own and she pushed him and went backwards
But instead of him to look disappointing or angry she was met with his guilty face and before he could speak his watch starts blinking
Wait, aren't devices prohibited?
His brows knitted as he read something. He glanced at the door and then at her. Something like panic flared in his gaze.
"Uhm. Can I quickly do something first? Please stay here," he said.
Ava nodded before she could digest his words. He whispered a thank you before leaving.
As the door shut, Ava took a deep breath. That was weird and disappointing at the same time. She really enjoyed the touch but he left she wondered what was wrong with him.
She sat on the bed, fingers digging in her hair. Maybe Jayden was right. She was the problem. What man will see her like this and not leave?
Wait. Could that be the reason Carson left, too? She should probably leave this place. None of this was going to work anyway.
She grabbed her purse, about to leave, when the door creaked open.
Carson?
Nope. Wrong.
It was the last person she'd expected to see here.
Grayson Harper
Ava froze mid-step watching the man in black shirt and trousers step in like he own the place.
His eyes darted around the room before settling back on her.
For the next minute. They stared. Ava's jaw locked, air finally filling her lungs.
"Where is he?" he asked. "The one who bought you here"
"What are you doing here?" she asked, trying to keep her voice firm.
"I asked first."
There was this restraint in his voice. As if he was holding back whatever was gathered in his chest.
"He left," she replied. "Now you want to tell me why you're suddenly everywhere, Mr Harper."
He took a step closer. The air shifted as his sharp cologne invaded her nose, intoxicating enough to make her want to breathe more of it.
The way his eyes raked over her body, drinking in every edge and fall, sent goosebumps all over.
"The fuck are you doing here, Ava?" he asked quietly.
"I should be asking you as well, but it isn't my business to interfere. The same goes for you. What I do here is none of your concern," she said.
"Yes, it is." He took a step closer. "You told me you'd be with Maya, not in a club way out of your league. You need to leave now."
She gaped, "Excuse me? I came here because I wanted to."
"Is this because of what your ex said to you?" he snapped. "uhun and beside is it not your choice to give your body to someone Ava are you nut for Goodness because of what Alex told you.
You decide to have sex with some random man Ava and don't forget the rules I gave you now you broke them so follow me right now his voice dark and low
She took a step forward as well. Her gaze locked onto his, which pierced sharper now that his glasses were gone. They are the kind that makes you wonder just how dangerous he is.
Her voice lowered in a taunting whisper.
"I'm not someone you can control, Mr.Harper."
The air shifted. Something even colder settled in the air between them.
She was done. Done with him thinking he could control her.
"I'm finding the man who bought me here, and you're not stopping me," she added and began to head for the door.
His move was fast. He turned her around, pinning her to the nearest wall. Her hands locked behind her.
She heard a click. A cold metal biting through her skin.
"What are you doing?!"
"You want to be a little bad girl, huh?" He yanked her hair backward. His breath hit against her neck. "You should at least get to know what you are getting into."
~~~~~~~~
Ava's whining hit the walls of the hall. Her legs were kicking, and her arms were hitting the back of the man carrying her on his shoulder.
"Let me down; I can walk!"
He slapped her ass. "Quiet"
She froze against his shoulder. Feeling the heat of the aftermath sting that flooded her nerves in a way that stole her breath.
He didn't leave the club. He headed to the next floor. There were two men in suits guarding the entrance.
They both bowed.
"Boss"
Ava's eyes widened. Shock rippled through her system. Her hair bounced as she tried to look up.
"Did they just call you boss?"
"Bring the wine. You've got a minute," Grayson said to the waitress hanging by the hallway.
The way the waitress kept her gaze low and quickly scrambled off answered her question.
"You own this place?!" She exclaimed.
He slapped her ass again. Harder. "I asked you to stay quiet, kitten. It's an order because you are getting your punishment here
Ava groaned. But somewhere in that deep shitty mind of hers that has herself locked up and reads books that make her mind go wild—might have liked it. But this was Mr Harper her father friend the same person that raised her.
The Captain-nowhere she hated.
He stepped into a room, the air felt cool against her skin, but didn't ease up the burns behind. He switched the light on. A dim warm light bounced off the wall, giving it aesthetic vibe.
She let out a disgruntled huff as he flopped her onto the couch. The cuff bit harder and glared at him through her disheveled hair.
"I fucking hate you!!!" she snapped.
"Good thing it's mutual baby" he said as leaned close, one of his hand rested behind her and the other pushing her hair of her face.
"I swear if you ever flip me over your shoulder one more time, I'll…"
"What? You wanna dare me again?" his voice ran deeper, heavier. "You should have known by now. Daring someone like me has cosequences. Now is not a good time to push that button"
"You know… you're the only person who glares at me like that" he continued. "I'm not use to someone disobeying my order. They would have been crawling at my feet, begging for my mercy"
Ava scoffed. Who does he think he is?
"Good thing I'm not anyone" she leaned closer until their nose almost ouched. "I won't crawl at your feet"
Ava had wondered he, the most grumpy man she'd ever met smile. And now that those lips of his finally stretched.
Heat rippled through her veins.
She should bolt out of the room, scream for help, without looking back. But the electricity between them made it painful impossible. They froze her brain, travelled up and spine and grew an ache that instinctively made her thighs clenched together.
He noticed. The way was his eyes darkened as they shifted from her face down to her exposed thighs. The hem of her black dress was now folded further almost revealing the red laces panties buried underneath.
Jesus Ava
The door creaked open breaking the thick tension between them. Thank heavens.
The waitress stepped in with a tray of wine just in time as he pulled away. Ava watched him walk over and pour himself a glass, sending the waitress in a sultry dress away with a wave of hand.
"You own the club." It wasn't a question. It was a confirmation.
"Welcome to my world," he said. "Well, not entirely."
She took a moment to let the fact in. Her new guardian, her father's friend, owns a crazy sex club that involves crazy plays. Did her father know of this and yet still mingle with him? Did her father knows he's not the same person that they know when she was a kid?Nope she don't think so
"Did he touch you?"
Ava almost scoffed at his question.
Why does he care if Carson touched her or not? It's not like he gives a fuck, right?
"None of your business."
Those almond-shaped blue icy eyes shot a warning look at her. She hated the way they made her feel intimidating and hot at times.
She wanted to tell him to fuck off and let her be. But something felt different around him. She couldn't tell if it was because the glasses were gone that made him look more intimidating or if this was how he is. So her brain worked on his previous words before her emotions did.
"We kissed," she confessed.
His jaw ticked. He swirled the wine in his hold lazily as if there was a storm of thoughts in his head. His shoes echoed as he approached.
"And how did it go?"
"It was going fine until you showed up."
He was behind her. She could feel the heat radiating from him. Could smell the sharp cologne that tempted her to breathe more of it in.
He chuckled, bringing his lips close to her ear.
"Why did you bring me here?" She asked,
"To give you what you want."
Wait. What?!"
She wanted to look up; he held her face, positioning it to the dark wall before her.
"Eyes on the wall. Under no circumstances should you look away.
"Eyes on the wall, kitten."
She obeyed, swallowing the bile that rose in her throat. Then she wonders what kind she could have
His fingers were now at her collarbones, trailing down to the middle of her chest.leaving her hyperaware of his touch and the electricity it sent through her body. The painful clench at the apex of her leg. The nipples painfully erected beneath the fabric of her dress. The arousal that bubbled in her stomach.
Now you gotta be submissive stay good and do whatever I wants. "It's all about trust." His breath was on her neck, and she was tempted to tilt her head for more.
"And… what if i… dont obey you?" She could barely hear or recognize her voice.
"You gets punished."
She swallowed. "How?"
Just in time, He spanked her ass. Her mouth parted to the limit. Her back arched as her body tensed. Then she bit her lips, as if feeling pain and pleasure at the same tim
"That is how you will get punished. Sometimes it could be other things."
"What other things?"
She gasped as his hand clamped the hem of her dress. She wanted to look but couldn't. Why? Why was she stuck in the loop of his command?
Oh God, she couldn't breathe.
Then she forced her eyes away, flicking them down to his veiny hand dangerously close to where she ached the most.
A whimper burst through her lips as he stopped. Ending the heat, she was beginning to crave more. She wanted to pull that hand back, but the cuff made her almost groan.
"Then I will take the advantage of your vulnerable state, leaving you frustrated."
Why did she understand what he just said? Was it because he literally just demonstrated it just now?
She was indeed frustrated.
He came in front of her. Her eyes settled on his lips as his hands went behind her. A click echoed.
"This is not your world." The cuff fell from her wrist. He straightened. "You don't belong here."
As he walked away, Ava's chest heaved as if she'd run a mile. His words still lingered in her head, in her skin. Everywhere.
Then it hit her.
She didn't want him to stop.
She want more
"Then... teach me?" She flicked her gaze to the man gulping another glass of wine.
"Get your ass up; we
are leaving."
"Be my dominant!" She exclaimed before he could take a step. Glancing over his shoulder, he raised a brow like she had lost her mind.
Maybe she has.
"I...want more ."
Why?
Because I like your touch not the way I always behave when Alex or Carson touch me
Something flickered in his eyes. Primal. Raw. But they disappeared immediately.
"You can't even follow simple instructions..."
"I..." Her lips paused, words freezing at her throat.
"You have no idea what you're asking. I can't give you what you want," he mumbled, beginning to leave.
