Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 — How It Started

Hi everyone. My name is Light.

This is the story of my unbelievable adventure — the one that completely changed my life.

Let's start from the beginning… the day it all began.

It was just a normal day.

The evening sun was setting through my window, painting the room orange.

I was sitting in front of my computer, headphones on, streaming like always.

The chat was lively — messages popping nonstop.

> "Let's go, Light!"

"You can do it!"

"One more hit!"

I was fighting the final boss of a fantasy RPG — swords, magic, dragons, everything.

After a few intense minutes, the boss roared and fell.

"Game cleared," I said with a small smile.

The screen filled with the ending credits.

> "GG!"

"Light never loses!"

"What a legend!"

I leaned back in my chair. "Thanks, everyone. That's it for today's stream. I'll see you tomorrow."

I read a few last comments, replied to some fans, then ended the live stream.

The room became quiet. Only the low hum of the PC fan remained.

I stretched, opened my email just to check for updates — nothing much.

But one message caught my eye.

No sender. No title. Just one word glowing on the screen: ANONYMOUS.

I frowned. "What's this?"

Curiosity won, and I clicked it open.

The message said:

> HELLO LIGHT.

THERE IS A WORLD WHERE MAGIC EXISTS —

A WORLD WITH ELVES, BEASTFOLK, DRAGONS, LIZARDMEN, AND DEMONS.

THEY ALL HATE HUMANS. THEY HAVE ALREADY KILLED ALMOST ALL OF THEM.

ONLY A FEW SURVIVE, HIDING IN REMOTE PLACES.

THEIR NEXT TARGET IS YOUR WORLD.

IF YOU DON'T STOP THEM, YOUR WORLD WILL BE DESTROYED TOO.

WILL YOU GO THERE AND DESTROY THAT WORLD —

OR LET THEM DESTROY YOURS?

I stared at the message. It felt like something from a game quest.

For a moment, I even laughed. "What kind of prank is this?"

Still, something about it didn't feel fake.

The more I read it, the heavier my chest felt.

Without thinking much, I typed back:

> "I will destroy that world and save my world, obviously."

I hit send.

And then… my monitor flashed white.

At first I thought it was a glitch. But the light grew brighter — too bright.

It spread across my desk, my walls, everything.

"What the—!?" I tried to stand, but my body froze.

The air became heavy. My vision blurred.

Then a voice whispered near my ear — calm, cold, and distant.

> "Your choice has been made, Light."

The light swallowed everything.

And that was the last thing I saw before my world disappeared.
