The exams came faster than I thought they would. I walked into Transfiguration first, taught by Professor Dumbledore himself. His sharp blue eyes gleamed with quiet amusement as he told us to transform a beetle into a button.
With my skill, it was simple. I flicked my wand, visualizing every atomic shift, and the beetle shimmered into a beautiful silver button adorned with the Slytherin crest. Dumbledore examined it closely, smiled faintly, and gave a small approving nod. I caught the faintest twinkle in his eyes — that subtle acknowledgment of true mastery.
Next came Potions with Professor Slughorn. The task: brew Amortentia, one of the most complex and advanced potions in existence. I worked methodically, every stir precise, every measurement exact. When the potion turned its signature mother-of-pearl sheen, Slughorn's mustache twitched in delight.
"Brilliant work, my boy!" he exclaimed. "Textbook perfection — no, better than textbook!"
I smirked slightly. Of course it was.
In Charms, I decided to add a little flair. With a wave of my wand, I made a pumpkin dance across the table, twirling gracefully before doing a perfect backflip. Then, with a bit of Transfiguration added in, I gave the pumpkin a tiny suit and bowtie as it danced. My Charms professor burst into laughter and wrote "Outstanding" across my parchment.
Defence Against the Dark Arts was next. Professor Galatea Merrythought tested us on counter-curses and protective charms, but I decided to go one step further. I lifted my wand and confidently called out,"Expecto Patronum!"
A brilliant, silver figure burst forth, illuminating the classroom. The professor was momentarily speechless before declaring, "Remarkable. Most seventh-years can't manage a corporeal Patronus."
Finally came History of Magic with the ever-droning Professor Binns. Thanks to my eidetic memory, I wrote down every key date, war, and magical decree in perfect order — even details most would forget.
A week later, the results were posted.Every subject: 100 out of 100.Perfect marks.
As I looked over my name at the top of every list, I couldn't help but grin. I wasn't just another Hogwarts prodigy — I was a legend in the making.
