Damon bowed theatrically at the announcement with his arm on his chest like a performer, and Alistair witnessing that, coughed out a mouthful of blood before eventually falling unconscious.
The others still on the platform had mixed feelings about his win, but the human spectators were especially wild with their cheers.
Both the figures of Damon and Alistair soon disappeared, one back to the platform, and the other, out of the pocket dimension.
Damon reappeared in the exact place he has been transported from, next to Calum and Anastasia.
"I told you didn't I? I am the strongest." He flashed a bright smile.
"Yes, you're the strongest." Anastasia nodded, flashing him a suspiciously eerie smile.
'What has gotten into her head?' Both Calum and Damon thought at the same time, but soon dismissed the thought as the next match was called.
