Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: System Panel, God-Given Wanda

Devour. I must devour him.

I wasn't going to be polite to a trashy, insignificant side character like Pyro John.

He had a big temper but barely any real power. Clearly, society hadn't taught him a hard lesson yet. If he'd gone up against a real threat, he would've died a long time ago.

Leo snorted, looking at the unconscious man.

"Next life, don't act like such hot shit. You're just a foolish piece of trash."

Crack!

He raised his foot and snapped John's fragile neck, sending him straight to hell.

Pyro twitched once, then went still.

Just like that Porcupine idiot—arrogant and disgusting. Guys like him couldn't win against anyone but still strutted around like they were gods. If I ever ran into that guy, I'd kill him on the spot too.

Leo flicked the lighter, controlled the flame, and burned the body into ashes.

[Ding! Pyro John eliminated. Host gains 500 Bio-Energy. Current Bio-Energy: 735 points.]

[Ding! Host killed Pyro John, completely altering his destiny. Reward: 50,000 points.]

"Nice. He died for a good cause. I should almost thank him."

"System, I have a stats panel, right? Generate one for me."

[Ding! Generating stats panel…]

[Ding! Stats panel created. Displaying now.]

A light screen, simpler than an RPG character panel, appeared in front of Leo.

Host: Leo

Simple but good. Less than two days into the Marvel world, and he already had this much.

This was just the beginning.

Whistling a happy tune, Leo strolled back to the bar's entrance.

The little enchantress had sobered up, and the moment she saw him, she threw herself into his arms.

"You're finally back. I was so worried," she whispered, holding him tightly.

Leo gently patted her head, making her snuggle closer like a kitten seeking warmth.

"Hehe, what could possibly happen to me? I just taught that punk a good lesson. He ran with his tail between his legs."

His voice was soft but steady—safe. Warm.

The impulsive, alcohol-driven tension from earlier had faded, but her heart was pounding for real this time.

She fixed his clothes, gazing into his star-bright eyes. She slowly leaned in… and they kissed.

Right there. On the street.

This was America—open and free. PDA wasn't rare.

Passersby whistled and clapped, cheering them on like it was a rom-com scene.

A few minutes later, she had to break away, clumsily gasping for air.

"Mmm… so fast?"

"Hmph, not enough? Let's go."

Blushing, she pounded him lightly to hide her embarrassment. The Lamborghini roared as they sped off, leaving the crowd laughing.

Inside the car, the once fiery mood faded into an awkward silence.

Leo glanced at her and decided to break it.

"Enchantress, what's your name?"

She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, her voice soft. "My name is Wanda Django Maximoff. You can call me Wanda. This was my first time going to a bar."

Screech!!!

Leo slammed on the brakes, smoke curling up from the tires.

"Your name is Wanda? Do you… have a younger brother?"

She flinched at his reaction but slowly nodded. "Yes. Pietro. How did you know?"

Leo didn't answer. He just leaned forward and kissed her.

"Wuwuwu!"

Wanda pounded his chest with her fists, but her resistance soon melted away as they neared her secluded rental villa.

When he finally pulled away, Wanda's face was flushed crimson.

"I must be the chosen one. There's no other explanation!" Leo laughed loudly, giddy with excitement.

Wanda rolled her eyes. "Hey, what's wrong with you? You're not crazy, are you?"

"Hehe, nothing. Just… a huge surprise. A gift from destiny."

Leo cupped her cheeks, his eyes gleaming like stars.

This wasn't just a lucky night.

This was Wanda Maximoff — the Scarlet Witch herself.
