Chapter 109 - Chapter 103

"Hm."

Phil Coulson curled his lips and nodded. Since this Thor was real, after witnessing the Destroyer's destructive power, he naturally welcomed such an ally. The Destroyer that had caused so much damage minutes earlier now lay quietly at their side.

"In that case, shouldn't Jane's research materials be returned to her?" Thor asked him.

"Of course. She still needs them for her research," Phil Coulson replied immediately.

Thor nodded and walked back to Jane Foster.

"Jane, didn't you say you wanted to see our Rainbow Bridge?" Thor lowered his head toward her with that gentle smile.

"Ah… yes." Jane nodded at once, looking at him expectantly.

"Then let's go."

Thor wrapped an arm around her, swung Mjolnir, and flew upward into the sky.

"Hey! Wait! I still need to ask you about the situation! Ahh…"

Coulson didn't expect Thor to fly off the moment he finished speaking.

"It's okay. I know everything already. You stay here—I'll go take a look."

Harry stepped forward, patted Coulson on the shoulder, and smiled lightly. Then, ignoring the startled gazes from the Asgardians, he shot into the air wrapped in blue lightning, following Thor.

"Who is he?"

Vostagg asked, mouth open, the heavy smell of alcohol drifting out as he watched Harry's figure vanish.

"Huh? He's from Earth," Phil Coulson said with certainty, smiling.

Harry followed Thor for a short while before they descended into a barren desert.

"Jane, stay here. I'll return soon."

Thor stroked her cheek, reluctant to part.

"Okay."

Jane Foster was worthy of being the lover of Thor—she nodded firmly in response.

Harry hovered in the air, hiding his aura as much as possible. He watched Thor say his final farewell. Harry waited. He waited for the exact moment the Rainbow Bridge would arrive for Thor.

On the ground, Thor stepped back from Jane and walked into an open space farther away.

"Thor!"

Sif and the three warriors of Asgard arrived quickly, running toward him. Thor hadn't flown far—just outside the town—so even Vostagg, slowest of all, had managed to catch up. But Sif's expression was terrible—icy cold and filled with restrained anger.

Crack—

Thunder rumbled across the sky, and Harry felt a majestic energy descend from some unknown space. The once-clear heavens twisted as dark clouds rolled in, brilliant light flickering in the depths.

"Let's go back to Asgard!"

Thor shouted, raising Mjolnir high. Joy spread across his face—he was finally going home.

The Rainbow Bridge roared as it descended, enveloping Thor, Sif, and the three warriors. The impact shook the ground violently, throwing up waves of sand that forced Jane Foster to turn away, arms raised against the wind. Because of this, she did not see the streak of blue lightning slip silently into the beam of light.

"Let's go."

Harry shot forward and entered the Rainbow Bridge's beam just behind the Asgardians. They had already begun their teleportation, but he was close enough.

At such a distance, they should have noticed him—but Harry had prepared for this.

He had invisibility.

Name: Harry Osborn

Age: 21

Physical Condition: Healthy

Abilities:

Body Strengthening (40), Static Cling (30), Spider Sensing (50), Invisible Standing (40), Electric Energy Control (40), High-speed Self-Healing (50), Phoenix Power (30), Infinite Fury Power (100), Magnetic Field Creation (80), Optical Invisibility (20)

Items:

Simple Armor (20), New Flying Skateboard (20)

Remaining Points: 125

The invisibility ability—mere 20 points—should not have fooled beings like Thor. But fortunately, Harry's mental strength allowed him to subtly distort awareness and create hallucinations.

Inside the Rainbow Bridge's beam, all sorts of strange, swirling lights and shadowy illusions passed by. Worlds flashed in and out of sight too quickly to understand. They tugged at Harry's curiosity, each scene vanishing the moment he tried to focus.

Unable to keep up, Harry gave up watching the illusions and simply kept his eyes on the figures ahead.

Boom—

He had no idea how long it lasted, but finally, the Rainbow Bridge reached its destination. Thor and the others vanished into the white glow ahead, and Harry increased his speed; the last thing he needed was to be shut out mid-transit and lost in the void.

Thor's group landed on the golden platform that served as the Rainbow Bridge's control room. The golden light radiating from the building forced Harry to close his eyes for a moment.

"So luxurious… and so powerful," Harry murmured. He stopped his momentum and landed lightly behind them, silent so as not to alert anyone. He couldn't let them find him—not now. He was a smuggler.

If he didn't know beforehand that Heimdall—the all-seeing guardian—had already been frozen by Loki using the Casket of Ancient Winters, Harry would never have dared to enter Asgard. Heimdall's sight could pierce everything.

The structure before him looked gold, but Harry's magnetic senses revealed it was not metal at all. And the sacred aura around it made the control room—this extravagant and imposing place—seem strangely ethereal.

Which only made Harry surer.

If even the Rainbow Bridge's control chamber held such mysterious craftsmanship…

Then Odin's treasure room must contain things far more precious.

Harry could almost see the points waving at him from inside.

"Heimdall!"

A loud shout pulled Harry back to reality. Vostagg had run to the frozen Heimdall and was pounding on the icy shell, shouting his name in panic.
