Chapter 30 - Chapter 30: Dahlia

"Please help me in welcoming the Mother and Father of Dahlia Griffin." Applause follows as my parents leave me alone back stage. There is a monitor back here, so I am able to see them as they walk about, pretending to be the grieving parents. "Harvard thanks you for being here today, and we offer our condolences. Please accept this diploma on behalf of your daughter. She has made a major impact on not only this university, but all those around her." More applause, and I can see my mother taking the diploma from the Dean, and they both shake hands with the long line of Harvard professors. Finally, Madam President stands and shakes hands with my parents.
