Avery really thought of everything. He takes me to the elevator, and up to the main house. In the kitchen he pours me a glass of Red Velvet Cupcake wine, and scoops a big bowl of Michigan Pothole. I feel so seen. He hands me my treats, and then helps himself to a serving of wine. He smiles at me over his wine glass and says, "Mmmmm. My favorite." and I can't tell if he is mocking me or not, but he seems to really enjoy it. How is it possible that my favorite things are also his favorite things?
He walks me to a room, the door a beautiful Seafoam blue. He opens the door and I am pleasantly pleased to find a massive bed with all the pillows! There are books everywhere and a little reading nook complete with a comfy chair and a lamp. I can see through an open door a closet which appears to have everything I could imagine needing to wear while on vacation, but also what I would need for conduct an official meeting.
