The next day, the trial resumed with an increasingly tense atmosphere. Natasha appeared with a face full of confidence, sitting next to her lawyer with a calm yet arrogant demeanor. David and Elara sat on the opposite side, accompanied by Robert, who that morning carried a thick folder containing new documents.
"Your Honor," Robert began the morning session in a clear voice, "we would like to introduce new evidence that is crucial to this case."
The judge nodded in permission. Robert then presented the medical documents from Adrian Wijaya, Natasha's ex-boyfriend, along with his written testimony.
"This evidence shows that the defendant, Natasha Gunawan, has a medical condition of stage four endometriosis, which makes the chance of natural pregnancy less than five percent. Furthermore, medical records state that a week before the alleged gala event, Natasha underwent a curettage procedure. This means that the claim of a natural pregnancy from that night is medically nearly impossible."
A murmur instantly filled the courtroom. Natasha's face turned pale, but she quickly became defensive.
"This is a forgery! Those documents could be fabricated!" she shouted, though a tremor of panic was detectable in her voice.
"We have also confirmed with the relevant clinic, Your Honor," Robert continued without being provoked. "And we request that Natasha Gunawan agree to undergo an independent pregnancy test supervised directly by the court."
The judge appeared to seriously consider this.
"The plaintiff also states that if it is proven Natasha is not pregnant, then the entire defamation lawsuit and civil claims she filed will be baseless, and could even be reversed into accusations of extortion and defamation against David Laurent."
Natasha stood up trembling. "I refuse! This is a violation of privacy! I am pregnant, this is real!"
Suddenly, Adrian Wijaya entered the courtroom after being called as a witness. His gaze was firm as he looked at Natasha.
"Natasha, enough. I will not stay silent anymore while you destroy others like you did to me before."
Natasha looked as if she had been slapped. Adrian then explained in detail Natasha's medical condition, their toxic relationship, and the pattern of manipulation Natasha often used. His testimony was clear, well-documented, and difficult to refute.
The judge finally ruled: "Natasha Gunawan is required to undergo a pregnancy test at a hospital appointed by the court within 24 hours. The results will determine the continuation of this trial."
