"How dare you!", Lim Yueling lifted her hand and landed a slap on his face.
"Sister you...", Lim Kyung could not believe her eyes. She knew that her sister was aggressive but she did not know she would dare to slap someone in public. Moreover that person was not just a nobody but her fiance!
"Are you crazy?!", Xu Kan fumed out of anger and embarrassment. A female had just slapped him, it had been so unpredictable that he was not able to stop her.
He lifted his hand to slap Lim Yueling and teach her a lesson but someone stopped him.
"You...", Xu Kan could not say a word upon seeing who it was.
The breaking sound of bones were heard and Xu Kan almost screamed.
"You dare to slap my fiancee. How daring of you ", Cha Min snickered loudly and threw Xu Kan's hand away.
"Young master Min, you have misunderstood something. Your fiancee slapped me first ", Xu Kan defended as he tried to fix his twisted wrist.
"I do not understand why Young Master still defends this lady. She surely does not deserve him!"
"Is Young Master Cha blind? Does he not know that behind that angelic face of hers lies a seductress?"
"Seductress? I heard she has slept with a lot of powerful men"
"Lim Yueling is a big disgrace to her family. What a big shame "
Today was the wedding anniversary of the old couples of the all powerful Cha family.
Lim Yuling realised she was a bit too tipsy after taking a few glasses of wine and headed to one of the guest rooms to rest a little. Unfortunately, she encountered something else a few minutes later.
"Yueling...", Cha Min's affectionate voice was so warm, soft and filled with indulgence that it almost melte d the hearts of every female who heard it. He walked over, stood beside his fiancee and held her tiny hand.
"Grandma wants to see you, let's go", Said Cha Min as he wrapped his other hand around her tiny waist.
Lim Yueling flashed a smile at him and the two walked away.
The little crowd left beside him could not help but gossip loudly.
"She already has Young Master Cha yet she tries to seduce Young Master Xu! What a slut!"
"Young Master Cha is definitely still with her because of that seductive face of hers, hmph!"
"That face of hers can even summon the gods down to earth "
"Whatever. Behind that face is a complete whore!"
Cha Min and Lim Yueling knocked before entering the large sitting hall of the Cha family where the old couple were seated.
"Grandma...Grandpa", Lim Yueling greeted and slightly bowed.
"Little Ling...come over!", Old man Cha smiled sweetly as he invited her over.
Cha Min followed behind her without taking his eyes off her. He truly admired his fiancee and could not bear to miss a second with her. The two took their seats beside each other.
"Are you not eating? Why are you so skinny and tiny? Cha Min, have you not been taking care of your fiancee? Do you not know she is the future daughter in law of this family?", old man Cha scolded his grandson gently.
Lim Yueling smiled gently and looked towards the old woman who was obviously ignoring her.
"Yueling, there have been too many scandals about you lately, you are tarnishing our family's image, are you aware of that? I even heard you got into an argument this evening and slapped the young master of the Xu family!", Said old woman Cha, her voice filled with anger and annoyance.
"Grandma, Yueling was wrongfully accused and that was why she slapped him", Cha Min defended.
"Yueling has always been quiet, even I was surprised when I heard she slapped that young master publicly "
Lim Yueling innocently smiled and apologised, "Grandma, Grandpa, I'm sorry for what happened, it would not be repeated again "
"You came empty handed? I expected something during the party but you brought nothing? And you still came here empty handed?", Old woman Cha could not believe her eyes. She did not understand exactly what was so special about this scandalous lady which made her husband and her grandson so fond of her.
Lim Yueling's face flushed red full of embarrassment. She was currently short of money and had not been able to prepare a gift for her future in laws. She wished the earth would immediately open up and swallow her.
Even old man Cha could not say a word to defend Lim Yueling because he was also a bit disappointed in her.
"Grandma and Grandpa you guys are wrong. You should not blame her but rather blame me. She gave me the gift yesterday to bring it along yet I left it in the car. I've sent the servants to bring it over ", Cha Min explained.
"You...", Lim Yueling was left speechless. It was so obvious that whatever Cha Min said was not making sense so why would a smart person like him say such a blatant lie.
Cha Min squeezed her hand and winked at her.
Old woman Cha clenched her fists but did not say a word. Cha Min was her only grandson and she was very fond of him. All her children had been males so she had been more than excited when Cha Min wad born and treasured him more than her husband.
"Oh so that's what happened. Little Ling forgive us for going overboard ", Old man Cha chuckled softly.
A few minutes later, Cha Min and Lim Yueling walked out hand in hand. Lim Yueling was feeling a little nervous beside her fiance.
"Min'Ah...", Lim Yueling stopped walking and said his name softly.
"About Xu Kan, it's not true. You believe me, right?", Lim Yueling scanned his face and surprisingly found no trace of disbelief or doubt.
"Yueling, I've known you for seven years now. I know it's not true. I'll make sure the truth comes to light", Cha Min kissed her on the lips and embraced her.
Meanwhile...
"Stupid!"
*slap!*
Lim Kyung's eyes brimmed with tears after the hard slap landed on the left side of her cheeks.
"So dumb! You could not even stop that stupid sister of yours from slapping me!", Xu Kan was extremely furious. He grabbed his wife by the neck and pushed her to the floor.
"I'm going to teach you a lesson!", Xu Kan crazily tore her dress apart and started to ravage her skin roughly.
"Please...please...", Lim Kyung could only cry and plead but did not dare to struggle because the consequences were only going to be severe.
In the room upstairs, screams could be heard but none of the servants dared to go upstairs or go anywhere near the room.
...
"Will you go to the dormitory or come over to my apartment?", Cha Min turned to Lim Yueling after they got inside the car.
"I'll go to your place, I do not want any disturbances from the girls in the dormitory ", said Lim Yueling.
Cha Min nodded and stepped on the accelerator and the car sped away.
