Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 World Famous Paintings

  "Yes!"

At Louise's request, the concierge was fired on the spot. Yu Xiao'an, due to her connection to the dean, was sent to the academy infirmary by two teachers.

Ignoring Yu Xiao'an, Louise turned her gaze to Ning Chuan and the other three. She ignored Tang San and turned her gaze to Ning Chuan, a smile on her face. "Little brother, all right, you can go ahead and register. If any teacher or staff member does anything shady or bullies you in the future, just tell me."

  "I understand. Thank you, sister."

"You little one, at my age, I'm old enough to be your mother."

The more Louise looked at Ning Chuan, the more she liked him. It couldn't be helped. After all, humans are creatures of beauty. Tang San was ugly, dark as a lump of charcoal, so it was inevitable that he would be ignored by Louise, the beautiful dean.

Ning Chuan, on the other hand, was fair-skinned and spoke pleasantly, making him easily susceptible to her attention.

  "But Sister is really beautiful."

Ning Chuan wasn't lying. In this world of spirit masters, female spirit masters, provided their spirits weren't too bad, were often quite beautiful.

"You're such a chatterbox. Alright, Sister needs to see the dean for something. You two can just go with this teacher and register."

  "Thank you, Sister. Goodbye."

After Louise left, Ning Chuan didn't bother looking at Tang San. Instead, he said hello to Old Tom and followed the teacher who had expelled Horton to register.

Old Tom, clearly still resentful of Tang San's "reporting" Ning Chuan, didn't bother looking at him either. After saying hello to Old Jack,

he left. "Alright, Xiao San, hurry in and register too."

Old Jack clearly still had hope in Tang San, believing he would carry the Holy Spirit Village forward, and gestured for him to hurry in.

Tang San nodded and quickly followed. He couldn't help but ask, "Why say that? Master shouldn't have any grudges against you, right?"

"Is it okay if I don't like him?"

Ning Chuan's simple words shut Tang San up.

Finally, Tang San snorted coldly, and no one spoke again.

The Notting City Junior Spirit Master Academy wasn't very large, consisting of just the main teaching building, the playground, and the dormitories.

Despite being a junior spirit master academy, it held students to exceptionally strict standards. Even if students lived nearby, they were required to live there and follow unified management.

A moment later, the two followed the teacher who had previously fired the concierge to the Academic Affairs Office on the first floor of the teaching building. The teacher in charge of welcoming new students was a man in his sixties named Su, the Deputy Dean of Studies at Notting Academy. Everyone addressed him as Director Su, with two young teachers under thirty assisting him.

Because Yu Xiaoan had been injured and carried away by Louise and hadn't yet been accepted as a disciple, despite Director Su's attention to Tang San's innately full spirit power Blue Silver Grass, no one had called her useless.

Instead, the teacher who had previously fired the concierge, Director Su, and the other two discussed the recent incident in which Yu Xiaoan had been beaten up for attempting to molest the beautiful new Dean of Studies.

Director Su and the others were stunned upon hearing this, especially the two young male teachers. They already looked down on Yu Xiaogang, and after hearing this, their remarks became even more sarcastic.

This made Tang San extremely disgusted. He knew Ning Chuan had done all this.

He ignored Tang San. After registering, Ning Chuan didn't wait for him. He collected two sets of blue uniforms and left immediately.

The Notting College dormitory was on the east side of the playground, making it easy to find.

Following the house number, Ning Chuan quickly arrived at Dormitory 7, where the part-time students gathered.

Perhaps because of the conflict "initiated" by Yu Xiaogang, Tang San had already missed a significant amount of registration time.

By the time Ning Chuan arrived, Xiao Wu had already arrived at Dormitory 7. A large group of people from Dormitory 7 surrounded her with respectful expressions. They kept calling her "Sister Xiao Wu," as if she had already assumed the role of Dormitory 7's boss.

"New part-time student, why don't you come and pay your respects to our new boss, Sister Xiao Wu?" someone shouted upon seeing Ning Chuan enter.

"Not interested." I, Ning, wouldn't pay my respects to that old hare.

In my mind, the other person had become my spirit ring.

Ning Chuan's voice immediately attracted the attention of all the part-time students, including Xiao Wu. One of the older students, glancing at Ning Chuan, whose skin was white and clean, but whose clothes were patched, approached him.

"My name is Wang Sheng, my spirit is the Battle Tiger, and I'm a future Spirit Master. Boy, what's your name? What's your spirit? How dare you refuse to pay your respects to Sister Xiao Wu?"

  "What?

You want a fight?" Ning Chuan's response only unnerved the already furious Wang Sheng. He worried that Ning Chuan was a tough nut like Xiao Wu. He hesitated, then shook his head. "It's not a fight, it's a rule. Whoever's the strongest in Dormitory Seven is the boss. I used to be the boss, but I lost to Sister Xiao Wu not long ago. If you don't want to pay your respects to Sister Xiao Wu, you have to defeat her."

Before Ning Chuan could reply, Xiao Wu's voice boomed, "Wang Sheng, since he won't pay his respects to Sister Xiao Wu, then you can help her teach him a lesson."

"Alright," Wang Sheng felt a bit trapped, but he still said to Ning Chuan, "Excuse me."

With that, Wang Sheng pounced on Ning Chuan like a tiger descending from a mountain.

Seeing Wang Sheng's advance, he punched Ning Chuan in the stomach, but Ning Chuan didn't dodge. He let the fist fall upon him.

He mentally chanted, "Bind Tang San."

  BANG!

The next moment, a strange scene unfolded. Wang Sheng's fist, after impacting Ning Chuan, could no longer penetrate him.

  "How is this possible?"

Wang Sheng's eyes widened, and the others reacted as if they had seen a ghost.

Everyone in Dormitory 7 who knew Wang Sheng knew that his martial spirit was the Battle Tiger, and his spirit power had reached level nine, making him incredibly strong.

Add to that his age advantage, and this seemingly frail new student would be crushed to the ground. Even a strong man without spirit power would have been knocked to the ground if he had taken that punch head-on. Yet, this man, bearing Wang Sheng's blow, appeared unaffected, neither itching nor hurting. It was unbelievable.

Elsewhere, Tang San had just finished freshman registration and hadn't even left the dormitory building when he felt a sharp pain in his abdomen.

  Then, a world-famous painting appeared.

Tang San felt like Ning Chuan's previous life, like Vegeta from the Blue Star anime Dragon Ball, getting punched in the stomach by Kakarot the first time he arrived on Earth.

He hunched over, his hands clutching his abdomen, his eyes bloodshot, acid oozing from his mouth as he retreated.

The difference was that Vegeta withstood Kakarot's punch and recovered, but Tang San, caught completely off guard, didn't even have time to activate his Xuan Tian Gong. He stumbled a few times before lying motionless on the ground, nearly vomiting bitter blood.
