A kick
One single movement
While his body was embedded in the city wall, with his body still surrounded by a thin layer of lightning chakra, A's mind was still in a trance.
'A movement'
The man had trouble understanding what had happened.
No, I knew what had happened.
The reason for his trance was that he had difficulty accepting that he had been blown away by a single move of the enemy.
A, the Fourth Raikage, the strongest ninja in the world and leader of the strongest village in the world, or at least that's what he believed, had been sent flying by a young man with a simple kick!
Although in this ninja world there were geniuses who in adolescence were stronger than many adults, their talents were not so extraordinary as to make them as strong as a Kage-level Shinobi.
And who was A?
The Fourth Raikage was one of the strongest Shinobi in the world today, and it was impossible for a young man to be stronger than him.
But the facts were right in front of him.
With his lightning armor, A believed he was the fastest man in the world, but even so he couldn't react in time when the young man kicked him in the chest and sent him flying.
But what bothered the man most was that the young man had a relaxed expression. As if he didn't take him seriously.
This last thing caused fury to fill the man's mind and he immediately got up, pulling his body out of the wall where he had fallen and throwing pieces of rock that broke off from the wall.
A's body was still protected by his lightning armor and showed no wounds or marks, demonstrating the level of defense of the Jutsu.
But this was not all of its strength.
With his thoughts burning with fury, A's chakra exploded.
And before the pieces of rock from the wall fell to the ground, the figure of A disappeared again.
One finger!
The crack of thunder was heard in the area along with the man's voice, and Team 8 heard it afterward, when A had once again appeared in front of Kozue.
Light travels faster than sound.
This is why the group saw the enemy's figure before hearing the explosion.
And unlike before, it was noticeable that A was now putting in more effort.
If before the lightning surrounded his body like fine silk, now the cloak of lightning was very thick, raising the man's hair.
At least that was all Kurenai and two of her students could see.
The three of them and Akamaru couldn't understand what had happened.
The terrifying enemy had been sent flying by that young man and now had returned to attack.
But if he had already been defeated once, why wouldn't he be defeated a second time?
A spark of hope was born inside their bodies.
Even Kurenai, who had confirmed the enemy's identity by their lightning armor, thought they would survive.
Although she was surprised that a young stranger had defeated one of the strongest ninjas in the world, she stopped worrying about it and instead her body relaxed.
Quite unlike Hinata, who, thanks to the Byakugan, could see that the power of the dark-skinned man's attack had multiplied many times.
If Kurenai and her companions could see what she saw with her Byakugan, they couldn't relax either.
Previously, the lightning chakra was not as powerful as it is now and was distributed across 4 fingers.
But now the lightning chakra was extremely strong and all of it was concentrated in a single finger.
It was terrifying.
Even from a distance and not being the target of that attack, Hinata felt goosebumps as she sensed all that power.
The young woman could not think of any possibility of surviving if she was the target of that attack.
Although the young man had already sent the enemy flying with a single kick, the enemy's power was much greater than before, and Hinata couldn't help but worry.
It was unnecessary.
Hinata's eyes widened at what she saw.
"¡Aaaaaah!"
A cry of pain echoed throughout the area. Even civilians approaching the scene heard it from a distance and turned around for a moment before continuing their escape. It would be a tragedy if the ninjas brought their fight to them and they died because they couldn't flee further.
The only thing they regretted was leaving their homes and praying that they would not be destroyed.
The only ones still witnessing the events were Team 8 and a few civilians who watched the battle from hidden locations.
These types of people were everywhere.
No matter how dangerous a situation was, there would always be some idiots who didn't care, or didn't understand the danger they were exposing themselves to, and stayed to watch or record some 'interesting' event.
In this case it was a battle between Shinobi.
In a world where ninjas wielded immense power and every civilian longed to be one, witnessing a battle between powerful ninjas was incredibly captivating—enough for some to risk their lives. These individuals could already foresee the many stories they would have to tell their friends and families in the future.
'Maybe they'll get a girlfriend?' they thought, already thinking about how to alter the event so that they could participate in some way.
They could say that the ninjas came near them, and some of them even thought about saying that they helped one of the sides by throwing a stone or a loose kunai at the enemy side.
They just had to pay attention to the details of the battle to make their accounts more realistic.
Unfortunately for them, they couldn't see anything.
The speed of the opposing ninjas was ridiculous, and they couldn't even see a blur.
All they could see was that the tanned man attacked first, but he was sent flying and ended up embedded against the wall.
Then the dark-skinned man attacked again, but this time he let out a cry of pain as he moved away from the young man high above and landed on one knee on the roof of a building.
They didn't know what happened.
They might have thought that the young man had defeated that man again, but they were confused when they saw that the dark-skinned man had his own hand embedded in his shoulder.
Had he hurt himself?
Meanwhile, the members of Team 8 were just as confused as they were.
They couldn't keep up with the man's speed either, but at least they could follow his afterimage from their locations.
But that wasn't enough to see what had happened.
'How on earth did that guy hurt himself?' they wondered.
"What happened?!" Kiba shouted, looking at his animal companion, his companion with glasses, and his teacher, searching for an answer.
But Akamaru barked and shook his head, Shino also shook his head, and Kurenai could only mention some kind of Genjutsu.
"I know what happened," Hinata said, arriving next to her team at that moment.
Now that the enemy was far away and neutralized, Hinata returned to her team and told them what had happened.
Or at least what he thought happened.
Even with her Byakugan, the young woman could barely see a blur of the two men's movements, but it was enough to grasp the essence of what had happened in a fraction of a second.
.
.
.
Meanwhile, Kozue jumped from her spot and came within about 10 meters of A's kneeling figure.
Kozue's landing did not attract A's attention.
The man was staring in shock at the wound on his shoulder, one he had inflicted on himself, and had no room in his mind to worry about other things.
This was because one of their beliefs had been shattered.
He had lost.
And he had lost dishonorably.
He, with the strongest defense in the world, had been wounded in a ridiculous way, stabbing himself
It was after a few seconds, when Kozue began to approach, that A came out of his stupor.
"Who are you?" asked the dark-skinned man as he pulled at his arm and his hand came out of his shoulder.
Thanks to the heat generated by the lightning armor, his wound was cauterized and the blood didn't even escape.
Of course, this was painful, but none of it could make the man flinch, and he stared at the young man who stopped about 5 meters in front of him.
That young man looked no more than 20 years old, but he had dealt with it as if it were the easiest thing in the world.
