Chapter 8 - Dimensional Store cap 8

When her father ordered the soldiers to take her to her room, Vivi was still worried and knew she would have to convince her father to stop his actions.

After making an excuse to go to the bathroom, Vivi escaped from the soldiers for a moment and headed toward a secret passage that only she and her father knew about.

This secret passage led directly into her father's room and Vivi quickly reached the secret door which was a bookshelf.

Suddenly, before moving the shelf, she heard a voice and Vivi stood still because it wasn't her father's voice.

"...and the spies in the army will be responsible for killing several civilians so that the rebels can act."

"Remember, keep the princess close so Cobra will be obedient."

Captcha

Viví saw her father communicating through a hole between a pair of books through a snail.

The message she heard surprised the princess who remained still in shock.

But she almost let out a gasp when she saw the man she supposedly knew as her father turn around and look in the mirror, and his face suddenly changed to a man with makeup.

'Mr. 2' Viví remembered having seen this man in the past and knew that he was Mr. 2, an official member of Baroque Works, an organization he had previously infiltrated to seek evidence of its involvement in the country's problems.

I hadn't found anything before, but this confirmed that Obras Barrocas was the culprit and manipulator behind everything that's happening right now.

Knowing what he knew now, he couldn't just sit idly by and soon he and Igaram secretly left the palace and headed to a specific shopping center.

Nico Robin

With his Devil Fruit ability, Robin saw everything from his room in the mall.

Seeing the chaos in Alubarna City, Robin knew that Crocodile had gotten ahead of his plans because he lost contact with her.

Robin was the only one who knew his true identity, so Crocodile must be nervous about her disappearance.

Robin didn't know what Crocodile was waiting for: to die so he couldn't tell his secret, or to live so he could read the poneglyph for him.

In any case, Robin no longer had anything to do with Crocodile because he was now working for another man.

Thinking about the latter, Robin was curious about Kozue.

From her strength, to the mysterious contract she signed that forced her to be the young man's slave.

Thinking about her new state, Robin felt strangely calm.

Because of all the years she's been on the run and killing to stay alive, Robin has long expected to find herself in a situation like this where she'd be forced to work for a man.

But even so, she had mixed feelings about being in this situation and thinking that she preferred this to her old life. A life on the run and not knowing what to do next.

Now that his life was in Kozue's hands, Robin felt more at peace than he had in his entire life since he started running away.

Seeing the chaos in the city, he didn't miss the princess's move to head here.

Thinking about the princess, Robin thought about the time he discovered the princess's entry into Baroque Works and hid the information so Crocodile wouldn't find it.

Although he wanted to read the poneglyph that Nefertari's family was hiding, it doesn't mean he will do anything like hurt this country and its people to achieve it.

That's why I try to help a little and wait for the princess to find out Crocodile's identity and foil his plans somehow.

She couldn't do more due to Crocodile's strength and her Shichibukai status that could hide her from the World Government, so Robin could only follow her orders for now.

Thinking about the princess's movements, Robin left the room to find Kozue and report what he found.

Kozue already knew Crocodile's movements, but seeing that Cobra was captive and had not killed him because he wanted him to take him to the location of the poneglyph, he decided to wait for all his subordinates to gather in one place.

On his way, he passed through a passageway overlooking the lower floor and saw the place filled with civilians sheltering in place, waiting for the chaos outside to pass.

During the chaos, people realized that the soldiers couldn't attack them inside the mall, and soon the place was filled with civilians.

But since the soldiers had surrounded the shopping center, no more civilians could enter.

After a few minutes and descending several floors, Robin entered Kozue's training place and found him practicing sword movements with 1 ton weights.

Although it was incredible, Kozue's training was even more amazing because the place used gravity technology to increase the gravity of the place several times.

Outside the gravity area, Robin could see Mikita resting on the floor, damp due to the blonde's sweat.

Robin wouldn't make fun of the woman because she still remembered falling to the ground a few days ago the first time she entered this gravity area.

It didn't take long for Kozue to notice her.

The young man put the weights on the floor and approached.

Robin told him about the princess's movements and the young man nodded.

Vivi gritted her teeth in frustration as the soldiers surrounding the mall wouldn't let her through.

The princess knew that the man who owned that shopping center was the only one who could help her rescue her father from the hands of Baroque Works at that time.

Furthermore, he had recently learned from Igaram that a rebel army had been formed to overthrow his father due to suspicions of manipulating the rains in the kingdom, so Lord 2's actions would only cause this rebel army to rise up and cause a civil war.

Because of the likelihood of civil war, his father would only act violently as a last resort.

Soon, Viví was desperate.

Even her position as a princess was of no use because the soldiers said they received strict orders from the king and they must follow them.

Furthermore, a soldier came out to say that the king had contacted them and ordered her to be arrested and sent back to the castle.

Even Igaram who stood between her and the soldiers didn't know what to do because he was between the safety of his princess and the soldiers who follow orders.

Grak Grak Grak

Suddenly, they heard the sounds of the mall's rolling door and everyone turned to look at it at the same time.

Everyone looked at the entrance of the mall and saw a young man come out and many civilians who stopped at the entrance while looking at the young man's back.

Seeing the young man, everyone was amazed because they knew that young man.

The young man was responsible for providing water to the kingdom, which was in drought, and the owner of this large shopping center that sold a variety of things.

Ishihara Kozue

That is the name Igaram told Viví in a low voice and for the first time he saw this young man.

To everyone's confusion, they saw the young man approaching the place where the princess was and the soldiers raised their weapons, sensing a confrontation.

"Mr. Ishihara, the king asked you to come with us to the palace," said a young soldier announcing the cobra king's orders.

All the soldiers raised their weapons with contradictory thoughts.

Since they were the ones who sent water to the entire kingdom, the army knew that the kingdom was not dying of thirst thanks to this young man.

But the king's orders were absolute and could not be disobeyed.

"Wait, don't do anything!" Vivi shouted as she saw that Kozue could be hurt by the soldiers, but the soldiers didn't lower their weapons due to the king's orders.

Seeing that he could start an unnecessary conflict that he could easily resolve with his strength, Kozue did just that and soon a wave of mental magic came out of him and expanded throughout the place.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Igaram, Viví, and the civilians watching the events from the mall entrance and from their nearby homes felt a force pressing on their minds for a moment before it disappeared.

But even though it was only a moment, the impression everyone had was enormous.

They had never felt anything like this.

And to everyone's amazement, at least those who were still standing, watched with their eyes wide open as the soldiers fell one by one and soon they were all on the ground.
