The pure white sea dragon roared, its wings whipping up a frigid wind that swept across Pamela's field, instantly freezing the puppet that radiated a divine light.

The energy core in Pamela's backrow rose once again. After absorbing the frozen humanoid puppet and the shadow lizard beside it, it attempted to re-form the frozen puppet.
"At this moment, I activate the Quick-Play Spell, Shark Lightning! When an opponent's Spell or Trap effect activates, I can banish one "Shark" monster from my Graveyard to negate the activation and destroy that card! (Anime Card)"
The energy core had just begun to operate when a phantom of a blue shark leaped out from Sugihara Yo's Duel Disk, shattering it.
"What?" Pamela exclaimed in surprise.
"Battle! CNo. 32: Shark Drake Veiss attacks El Shaddoll Anomalilith! Deep Sea Chaos Devour!"
The pure white sea dragon spread its wings and spat out a chilling torrent. In an instant, it shattered the frozen puppet.
"Thanks to the effect of Abyss Shark, the battle damage from a "Number" monster's attack is doubled once this turn! Go to hell!"
After shattering the puppet, the torrent of icy shards swept Pamela away. A shrill scream echoed from within the deluge.

Accompanied by the neighing of a warhorse and the clatter of iron hooves on the ground, a ghostly knight appeared before Yuto.

"I set three cards and end my turn," Yuto calmly concluded.
"My turn! I draw!" Yuto's opponent was a shirtless, muscular brute. His rock-hard muscles were covered in scars, and his silver hair, short and sharp as steel needles, combined with his cold expression, made him look extremely formidable.
"I summon Gladiator Beast Betta in Attack Position!"
"Next, if I control a "Gladiator Beast" monster, I can Special Summon this card!"
"Appear! Test Tiger!"
"I activate the effect of Test Tiger! I Tribute this card and target one "Gladiator Beast" monster I control. I return that monster to the Deck and Special Summon one "Gladiator Beast" monster from my Deck. The monster summoned this way is treated as being Special Summoned by the effect of a "Gladiator Beast" monster."

The humanoid, winged-beast warrior with green wings on its back hurled its spear at the Set Card in Yuto's backrow. But just as the spear was about to hit, the card flipped face-up.
"I activate the Continuous Trap, The Phantom Knights of Fog Blade!"
"I target an Effect Monster on the field. As long as this card is in the Spell & Trap Zone, that monster cannot attack, cannot be targeted for attacks, and has its effects negated. When that monster leaves the field, this card is destroyed."
An illusory sword descended from the sky, landing before the winged-beast warrior. The spear it had thrown shattered into pieces.
"Is that all?" the silver-haired brute grinned. "I return Gladiator Beast Augustus and Gladiator Beast Bestiarius from the field to the Deck! Contact Fusion!"
"O solitary bird whose wings are blades of wind! In the name of the emperor, return to this world and conquer all before you! Fusion Summon! Come forth, Level 6! Gladiator Beast Gyzarus!"
The two monsters on his field transformed into streams of light, flying back into the Deck. A fusion vortex slowly emerged behind the silver-haired brute. Moments later, a winged-beast warrior clad in heavy armor descended once more, bearing the name of an ancient Roman emperor.

"I'll destroy your monster and the Set Card in the middle!"
From his throne, Gyzarus slowly waved a hand. Two lances materialized from thin air, instantly pulverizing the ghostly knight and the Set Card.
"When my Xyz Summoned The Phantom Knights of Break Sword is destroyed, its effect activates! I can target two "The Phantom Knights" monsters with the same level in my Graveyard! I Special Summon those monsters, and their levels are increased by 1!"
"Revive! The Phantom Knights of Torn Scales! The Phantom Knights of Silent Boots!"
The fragments of the ghostly knight, pierced and shattered by the lance, transformed into two wisps of phantom fire, slowly materializing before Yuto.
