Chapter 60: Super Polymerization
"I end my Battle Phase. At this moment, your three monsters return to the field," Yuri said, and the three demon lords returned to Reiji Akaba's field.
"I activate the effect of Replacement Fusion in my Graveyard! By banishing this card from the Graveyard, I target one Fusion Monster in my Graveyard, return that monster to the Extra Deck, and then draw one card."
"I return Starving Venom Fusion Dragon to my Extra Deck."
"Next, I activate the Equip Spell, Predapraft!"
"I target one 'Predaplant' monster in my Graveyard; that monster is Special Summoned, and this card is equipped to it."
"I Special Summon Predaplant Squid Drosera from the Graveyard."

"Have you figured out how you're going to take 5000 points of effect damage?" Yuri asked with a smile. "I set two cards and end my turn."
"My turn! I draw!" Reiji Akaba calmly drew his card.
"At this moment, I activate my Trap Card, Contract Laundering!"
"All 'Dark Contract' cards in my Spell & Trap Zone are destroyed. I draw cards equal to the number of cards destroyed, and then I gain 1000 LP for each card I drew."
A great fire erupted from the card, burning the two contracts beside him to cinders. They transformed into two streams of light that flowed into the deck on his Duel Disk, and the draw prompt lit up accordingly.

"Next, the effect of D/D/D Wave King Caesar resolves. I will take 1000 points of effect damage for each monster revived at the end of the last Battle Phase, for a total of 3000."

"Right now, there's only a single monster with 800 ATK on my field. Why don't you try attacking?" Yuri smiled.
Unlike Yuya Sakaki, who would recklessly charge into a known trap, Reiji Akaba chose to clear the way first.
"I activate the Continuous Spell, Dark Contract with the Swamp King."
"With the effect of Dark Contract with the Swamp King, once per turn, I can send Fusion Materials listed on a Fiend-Type Fusion Monster from my hand or field to the Graveyard to Fusion Summon that one Fusion Monster from my Extra Deck."
"I fuse the D/D/D Flame King Genghis and D/D/D Wave King Caesar on my field!"
"O raging hellfire, burn all of creation to cinders and welcome the coming of the arrogant king! Fusion Summon! Descend, Level 8! D/D/D Flame High King Genghis!"

The three demon kings stood before Reiji Akaba in their evolved forms, while Reiji Akaba himself stood upon the fortress that was D/D/D Oblivion King Abyss Ragnarok, looking down on Yuri.
"The effect of D/D/D Gust High King Alexander! If there are two or more other 'D/D/D' monsters on my field, this card gains 3000 ATK."
D/D/D Gust High King Alexander ATK: 3000 → 6000
"Battle! D/D/D Gust High King Alexander, attack him directly!"
From atop his monster, Reiji Akaba coldly gave the command. Alexander swept his green cape behind him, raised the longsword in his hand, and slashed down.
"I activate the Trap Card, Attack Invincibility! For this Battle Phase, I take no battle damage," Yuri said, calmly flipping over his set card.
"I activate the effect of D/D/D Flame High King Genghis!"
"Once per turn, during my turn, when a Spell or Trap effect is activated, I can negate that activation."
Just as a golden barrier lit up before Yuri, a blast of fire shot from Genghis's shield, destroying it.
Looking at the longsword inches from his face, Yuri shook his head helplessly. "I really didn't want to use this."
With that, Yuri looked up, facing the enormous blade, and flipped over his last set card.
"Quick-Play Spell, Super Polymerization!"
"By discarding one card, I can fuse monsters from either side of the field, and Fusion Summon one Fusion Monster from the Extra Deck."
"An effect that uses the opponent's monsters as Fusion Material?" Reiji Akaba frowned, thinking, "Is this the ultimate trump card of the Fusion Dimension?"
As he was thinking, Reiji Akaba raised his hand to negate the summon with the effect of Wave High King Caesar, but the Duel Disk never gave him a chance to respond.
"By the way, you can't chain to this card's activation," Yuri smiled. "I fuse my Predaplant Squid Drosera with your D/D/D Oblivion King Abyss Ragnarok!"
"Fusion Summon! Appear once again! Starving Venom Fusion Dragon!"
