Chapter 351 - Chapter 87: Night Visit to Biotech_5

"Thank you for your hard work, today's earnings will include your share."

Mercer said, but Sasha just shrugged and sat in the modified empty carriage at the back—she didn't know how much this job would make yet, so she just said, "It's just a small job, just give whatever."

"Alright, I'll just give whatever then." Mercer agreed with a smile.

After Sasha bade farewell to V, she stepped on the gas and left the scene.

V curiously looked at the repair technician uniforms inside the suitcase.

"We're just going to rely on this to sneak in?"

"That's right, just this." Mercer said confidently, "I've already scouted the layout of the building and Diana's location, if we don't use this, we can only fight our way up.

I guess you wouldn't want to experience being chased by the company again in the middle of the night."

V looked around: "Then I'll go change clothes first, keep an eye out for me."

"Alright, I'll drive the car to the side entrance for maintenance workers at the hotel." Mercer said, stepping aside to let V go to the rear compartment and change clothes.

Sasha slightly raised an eyebrow, looked at V, and then at Mercer—these two seemed pretty at ease?

V didn't seem like a casual girl to her, but watching V come to the back, casually starting to remove her coat and pants to change clothes, it seemed quite 'habitual'.

Once V put on the simple gray work uniform, donned the property company's hat, and added a pair of black-framed glasses, Mercer couldn't help but smile.

"What are you laughing at?" V stared at him displeased.

"A bit quiet, or maybe naive... how to say this, it suits you."

After Mercer finished speaking, she raised her fist and gave him a punch on the shoulder: "Stop talking nonsense, hurry up and change, then go over the details with me."

Mercer unceremoniously started changing right in his seat.

V first instinctively turned her head away, then realized it wasn't right, turned back, only to see Mercer stifling a laugh, revealing the black customer service outfit underneath his clothes.

"Damn, you scared the hell out of me!" V glared at him angrily.

But Mercer happily said: "If you want to look just look, I've seen yours anyway, don't mind the little things."

"Who wants to look at you, you little brat without a hair yet." V pretended to be disdainful.

Sasha just covered her mouth and snickered.

"Oh~"

Mercer elongated his tone, but also knew when to stop teasing her, changing the subject before she got too annoyed:

"What we're going to do shortly is very simple.

This morning, Sasha posed as a customer checking into the hotel, reported an elevator malfunction to the hotel staff, and intercepted the maintenance crew when they came by.

What we need to do now is disguise ourselves as the repairmen coming to fix the elevator—the ID card has already been modified by Sasha, so we just go in through the side door openly, pretend to fix the elevator, and go upstairs."

After Mercer finished, V was a bit puzzled: "Then why don't we just disguise as customers or something to get in directly?"

"Because the top floor of Biotechnology has a separate elevator, not open to the public, only for use by the upper management of Biotechnology."

Mercer paused, then continued: "Beside the elevator, the top floor doesn't even have a fire escape, and the rooftop can only be accessed after reaching the penthouse via that elevator, it's basically an independent safe house within the hotel.

Diana Kuno is scared to death, since knowing we aren't dead, she's gathered a bunch of Military Science agents to protect herself. From the elevator entrance to the top floor, the rooftop, it's all filled with Military Science and Biotechnology agents.

We must find a suitable reason to quietly sneak in."

"According to what you said... what if we get exposed? We can only exit through the elevator and might get shot up as soon as the doors open."

V scratched her face, the work uniform was a bit big for her, so she had to roll up the sleeves for easier movement.

"That's why we're not taking the elevator, I have a special idea..." Mercer looked up at the night sky, showing a mysterious smile: "Today I'm taking you on a thrilling ride."

"How thrilling? More thrilling than this morning?" V huffed, disdainfully throwing him a mask: "Fine, I'll do my part, so should we set off now?"

"First memorize your fake identity. If the Biotechnology Watchdog questions us once inside, don't get exposed."

Mercer glanced at Sasha, she smiled sweetly, pressing her hand on her cheek as her prosthetic eye gleamed and sent a file into his Network Access Vault.

After Mercer looked it over, he sent V's part to her Brain-Computer Interface.

After reading through the information, V suspiciously looked at him: "My alias is Bonnie, and your alias is... Clyde? I have a feeling that's a bit weird."

"It's not weird." Mercer gave her a glance: "Your beastly intuition can fail someday, huh?"

"Nonsense! These two names must have a story... you have to tell me properly afterwards." V just glared at him, not believing him, she figured from Mercer's smile when they matched the information that these names definitely had a story behind them.

Mercer helplessly shook his head, turned to look at Sasha, and spread his hands: "This woman is really hard to fool."

Sasha, also curious, leaned out from the back: "Is there really a story?"

"No... well, simply put, they were a historical pair of bandits, seen by the masses as 'Robin Hood' figures for robbing banks, but they were essentially just a gang of thieves."
