Title: Third-rate villain, Unfortunate soul, Young miss of Rosewell family.
Evaluation: She was born into a wealthy and influential family. Yet, fate had other plans for her. She had unknowingly bullied the sister of a protagonist and ended up being targeted by that protagonist. To make matters worse, one of her guards even tried to attack the protagonist, who was at that time infatuated with her and wanted to talk with her.
All these events led to her becoming a target of revenge in the mind of the protagonist. Ultimately, she meets her end at the hands of that same protagonist. He allowed her to live, but she dies as a worthless beggar without her memories. It was her fate to perish in the slums of Azure Mountain City due to hunger and injuries. However, because of an arrogant snake, her fate is now chaotic.
Looking at her status, I can confidently say that she has the worst status and fate among most of my disciples. Even if Lu Xiaoran had crippled cultivation, at least she had cultivation and a martial soul. But Lina has nothing; her status shows emptiness in those sections.
The only noteworthy detail is her Magic Supreme physique, which is broken. Sigh! I realize I need to put more effort into teaching her.
With this in mind, I said, "Get up, my disciple. From now on, you don't have to bow to anyone."
She smiled at my words, but it faded quickly. A sincere expression replaced it. There was fire in her eyes, the same fire I saw in Lu Xiaoran's eyes—the fire of revenge.
I'm glad she has the strong will to take back what she lost, so I asked her about the events that led to her current condition.
She explained her situation, or at least what she could remember. She described how she had a good life until a few days ago when her family estate was attacked. She witnessed her father buried beneath the rubble of buildings. When she tried to help him, he teleported her away using some kind of artifact.
As for other details, her memory is unclear. She remembers her life, her family, and even their servants but lacks specific details about them.
Hearing her situation, I felt a bad premonition, so I immediately asked, "Lina, can you remember your father's face?"
She nodded and opened her mouth to speak about her father, but she stopped mid-sentence. It seemed she was trying to remember something important. Her brows furrowed, but she couldn't say anything. Then she clutched her head with her hands, and horror filled her eyes.
In a terrified voice, she said, "Master, I can't remember my father's face. Master, please do something. My head hurts. Something is wrong with my memory."
To calm her down, I patted her head, hugged her, and then patted her back, saying, "Don't worry, child. Your master will take care of it."
Internally, I asked the system about her situation. It replied, "Host, this is a curse on her. The nature of this curse is very malicious; it eats away at the target's memory."
Vik: "System, dispel this curse."
System: "Host, I'm sorry, but I can't do that. This curse is tied to fate, and the person who cast it is likely a chosen one. Dispelling it is almost impossible with my current knowledge, and I can't access additional knowledge due to that ban."
Vik: "Is there any other way? If not, I will use my strange fire to try and burn that curse off her."
System: "Host, using brute force is the last resort. There are other ways. The curse itself isn't that strong, but because its caster is a chosen one, it becomes more lethal. If another chosen one like you uses the correct method, you can dispel it using your own fate."
Upon hearing the system's advice, I immediately asked for the method to do that. After the system explained everything, I looked at Lina in my arms. She was still clutching her head, muttering about her pain and memory loss. I patted her head, and she lost consciousness. I put her into a deep sleep because dispelling the curse requires this state.
I then laid her down on the table, straight on her back. During this time, Roman came down after putting Sherry in her room, and she was also asleep. Looking at Roman, I said, "Roman, make sure no one disturbs me for the next few minutes and stand guard."
He nodded, and I added, "Roman, watch closely. I'm going to save your junior sister." I placed my hand on her head while reciting a spell that infiltrates another person's soul sea. It's a complex seventh-rank spell, but thanks to my strong comprehension and the system's help, I cast it without any issues.
The spell worked, and soon I found myself in a desolate landscape. The sky was red, and the ground was black. This place resembled a post-apocalyptic land. I was confused because typically, a soul sea does not look like this. Even if Lina is currently mortal, her soul sea would mostly contain things that represent her personality or items she created.
For example, the foundation I built in my dantian is also present in my soul sea. Seeing such a landscape in Lina's soul sea made me understand the seriousness of the situation. I soon discovered the reason for this; it was a pseudo-spiritual plane created in Lina's mind.
You could say this is her dream, but fundamentally it differs from a dream. I didn't delve into details and started searching for Lina or anything related to her. Soon, I found her."
