The trio is named Da Nan, Zhong Nan, and Xiao Nan. Just from their appearance, it's clear they are three sisters, but their casual approach to naming still exceeded Ash and his friends' imagination. Who names themselves like this anyway!
Soon, led by the trio, the group arrived at the backyard of the Inner Wood Research Institute to meet Dr. Nemu.
Upon first meeting, Dr. Nemu was wearing a one-piece swimsuit, playing and frolicking with a fierce-looking Gyarados in the bay. At the sight of Gyarados, Misty couldn't help but take a step back, hiding behind Ash and tugging at his shirt sleeve.
Ash glanced at Misty in surprise. Is Misty... afraid of Gyarados?
Known for her love of Water Type Pokemon, Misty being afraid of a Water Type Pokemon? As Ash's mind churned, he instinctively shielded Misty and looked at the Gyarados ahead.
There's no denying that Gyarados does look quite fierce. The mere sight of it could make any young girl cry in fear. However, given Misty's personality, it can't just be a simple fear of Gyarados' appearance. There might be other reasons.
"Hello, Dr. Nemu, I am Ash from Pallet Town, and these are Brock from Pewter Gym and Misty from Cerulean Gym. We are here on behalf of Professor Oak to deliver the GS Ball to you." Ash was direct, immediately stating the purpose of their visit to Dr. Nemu.
Dr. Nemu leapt off the Gyarados, her fair legs and lotus-like arms reflecting blinding light under the sun.
As Dr. Nemu floated gently to the ground, Da Nan quickly ran over and handed her a white lab coat he had prepared in advance. Dr. Nemu donned the coat over her swimsuit.
Being captivated from the beginning, Brock's eyes almost popped out witnessing this scene—a seductive wet look + one-piece swimsuit + uniform temptation + a voluptuous big sister. If he had no reaction, he wouldn't be Brock!
"Such... such a beautiful big sister! Is Dr. Nemu really such a gorgeous female?!" Brock didn't know beforehand that Dr. Nemu was female, let alone a mature, beautiful elder sister, perfectly aligning with Brock's preferences!
"So you're Ash? I've heard of you. Fifteen years old, traveling for six months, defeating an Elite, becoming the Champion of the Quartz Conference, accomplishing in six months what most trainers can't in a lifetime. You're the future star of Kanto." Dr. Nemu rattled off a string of titles that left Ash bewildered.
It turns out he already has so many titles. But among all these titles, none are as meaningful as the word "Champion." Still, when someone unloads so many titles upon meeting, even Ash feels a bit embarrassed.
"Not... not that impressive, really."
"Let's go. You should return to the institute first; I'll go change clothes."

Ten minutes later, Dr. Nemu emerged from the back door in a light orange dress, still draped in that white lab coat. Even under the guise of a researcher's coat, her voluptuous figure couldn't be hidden.
"Ash, the GS Ball?"
"Here it is." Ash retrieved the GS Ball from his Space Backpack and handed it to Dr. Nemu. She went straight to the institute's computer and placed the Pokeball on a device, typing furiously on the keyboard before pressing Enter.
A progress bar appeared on the computer screen, and this is when Dr. Nemu spoke: "This is a Pokeball analysis device, capable of analyzing the construction, materials, and effects of the Pokeball, among other things."
"Actually, in terms of Pokeball research, Professor Oak is a notch above. However, he lacks specialized equipment, or rather this device is unique to my place, indeed the whole alliance has only this one."
"Usually, this equipment is housed at the alliance headquarters. I borrowed it for a while as I needed it recently."
Hearing this, Ash and his friends looked enlightened. No wonder Professor Oak wanted them to bring the GS Ball here; it was due to the machine.
"The analysis will take a while. Have a cup of tea first. Have you had lunch? If not, grab a bite here." Dr. Nemu said, striding toward the institute's entrance with her long legs.
Ash and the others checked the time, realizing it was nearly one o'clock without feeling hungry. Although they had a generous amount of porridge in the morning, it tends to be digested quickly.
Hunger sets in faster compared to regular food, but they didn't feel it. Perhaps it's due to the radiant cuisine cooked by Ash.
After tasting Ash's radiant cuisine, Brock and Misty weren't keen on eating other foods, but Dr. Nemu's invitation made rejecting impolite, so the trio followed her to the institute's dining area.
However, upon entering the dining room, Ash and the trio were stunned. Those familiar might call it a dining room; the uninformed might mistake it for a garbage dump!
The sink was piled high with unwashed dishes, the floor littered with nearly ten tied-up garbage bags, clothes scattered on the ground, numerous empty instant noodle cartons on the dining table—like a living garbage dump!
