Fossil Pokemon are already rare, and Aerodactyl fossils are even rarer compared to other Fossil Pokemon!
Currently, the only known Aerodactyl in the world is the one in the possession of the Dragon Master. Apart from him, no one else has an Aerodactyl.

Though recently, Ash defeated the Fuchsia Gym's Koga and three Elite Level Pokemon, it was a hard-fought battle. And now, in such a short time, he's taken down this Aerodactyl. Has he improved again?
Seeing Gary falling silent, Ash threw the Pokeball in his hand, hitting the Aerodactyl, capturing it without the slightest tremor and producing a crisp sound.

Compared to Omastar, they prefer Kabutops, which is more hardy.
