💫 Chapter 3 — When Hearts Spoke Aloud
Days turned into weeks, and what began as chance meetings became something neither of us wanted to live without. Every morning felt brighter knowing I might see you; every evening softer because your words lingered in my mind.
I tried to hide it — the way my heart fluttered when you smiled, the way my world felt quieter when you weren't near. But love has a way of revealing itself, even when we're afraid to name it.
It happened one late afternoon, the sky painted with gold and fading blue. We walked by the river, the sound of water filling the silence between us. You reached for my hand — hesitantly, as if asking permission — and when our fingers intertwined, something inside me finally exhaled.
