I stumbled out of that hotel room like the walls were closing in, shirt half-buttoned, shoes barely on, heart slamming against my ribs so hard I thought it might crack one. The hallway blurred past me, elevator dinged too loud, and then I was outside in the cold night air, sucking it in like I'd been drowning. Hana and Anning were gone, really gone and I didn't blame them. I'd fucked everything up again. Same old story.
I just needed to get home. Clear my head. Figure out what the hell that pull in my chest even meant anymore.
Footsteps behind me. Fast ones.
"Woo Min!"
Junho's voice cracked on my name, raw and pissed and hurt all at once. I didn't turn around. Just kept walking, faster now, hands shoved deep in my pockets.
"Leave me alone, man."
"No." He caught up, grabbed my arm hard enough to spin me. His eyes were red, cheeks streaked, but the anger was fresh. "You don't get to run away again. Not after that shitshow."
