Bright red blood spurted from both sides, but accompanying the blood was Su Ming's gleeful laughter and Grud's agonizing screams.
He never thought Deathstroke would have such an attack method.
Even though he was a gorilla with tough skin, the sharpness of X Metal was not something flesh could withstand.

Not only Grud, but even the Turtle People were turned into porcupines. They weren't real babies, and Su Ming showed no mercy.
The gorilla widened his eyes, despairingly looking at Deathstroke, as several members of the Justice League were now out of the effects of the Static Force and were gradually closing in.
"... Go to Hell with your questions."
Su Ming swung the Nightfall Greatsword overhand towards the gorilla's head. However, the gorilla revealed a smile; a strange purple light covered him, and then he abruptly vanished from under Su Ming's sword.
Su Ming furrowed his brows, immediately turning to chase Cheetah and Black Manta, only to see them taking a tube of black luminous liquid from a golden container and disappearing in a flash of light, just like the gorilla.

Su Ming looked down at the holes in his outfit and slowly exhaled through his nose.
It was the first time an enemy had escaped from his grasp; even Dawn Deceit Lantern left half of his body last time.
But, the situation being what it was, there was no use in lingering here. At least he gained some intelligence: apart from Grud and the other two, there was at least one other person responsible for assisting them.
And this method of teleportation, Su Ming had never seen before.
He returned to Diana and the others. In this underground structure, besides the white monsters still writhing on the ground, there was nothing of value left.
Barry still looked disheartened. Only now did he understand the kind of pressure Batman faced during the Metal Event.
Even though he hadn't yet seen the threat Static Force posed to the world, the feeling of being the 'culprit' made him feel really uncomfortable.
