Team 7 was currently in the middle of an Escort Mission to Waveland, but the C-rank mission quickly moved to S-rank. The group accompanied by their employer, Tazuna the carpenter then came across ninjas from Kiri including the formidable Zabuza Momochi, thus making the mission much more dangerous than expected.
The simple escort mission became a bigger affair as the ninjas of Konoha became involved in a case linked to the Land of Waves under the rule of a horrible businessman named Gatō.
After a difficult fight against ninja Zabuza, Kakashi and Team 7 decided to take a rest with the carpenter's daughter while waiting for Kakashi's wounds to heal. As Team 7 with Tazuna and her grandson visited the city, Naruto rested quietly in his room until a strange, life-changing gift appeared...
"Ah I hope that Kakashi-sensei will heal quickly to quickly finish this mission. I miss Uncle Teuchi's ramen, dattebayo." Naruto exclaimed while lying on his bed.
