After three hour. Lu Jingyan stood still looking at the empty hallway as she didn't have the energy to go to her father's ward or leave the hallway. She just kept her eyes fixated on the door and she.sighed.
"Xinyan" she called after entering her father's ward but mer it empty. She rushed out and went to the nurse station to ask about her father
"Excuse me" she said "my father and brother. They aren't In the ward anymore. I will pay for the treatment. I will pay by month end. I promise" she said as tears flow freely from her eyes
"Ms. Lu. Don't worry. Your father has been moved to the VIP ward" the nurse said
"What did you mean? The VIP ward? By who?" She asked
"I don't know. Order from above" the nurse said
"Which floor is the VIP room?" She asked
"The 9th floor. Room 904" the nurse said
"Thank you" she said heading to he 9th floor. Upon getting to the floor and opened the door and saw that the ward was like a penthouse. A penthouse she had before and she felt sad that she couldn't afford the room. She breathed in and entered fully to see her brother sleeping peacefully on the couch in the ward. She went out and saw the doctor in charge of her father coming towards the ward
"Doctor" Lu Jingyan called
"Jingyan. How are you?" He asked
"Doctor about the room you placed my father into" she started. "I don't have money to pay for the room. And the last room I haven't paid for it yet. Also the treatment fees are due. I can't manage. Why don't you put him back into the old room?" She asked
The doctor smiled, he placed his hand on her shoulder "Lu Jingyan. The room and the treatment fees have been taken care of" he said
Lu Jingyan looked at the doctor in surprised as she heard him talk "by who?" She asked but instead if tell her he pointed to the room opposite her father's ward.
"Thanks" she told the doctor as he entered her father's ward while she entered the opposite ward.
"Who are you?" A young girl's voice of about 18 years said
"Hello. I am Lu Jingyan" she introduced
"Sister in law?" The girl said
"Sister in law?" Lu Jingyan called again
"Hello sister in law. I am Leng Yumo" the girl introduced
"Hello. I think you are getting it wrong. I am not your sister in law" Lu Jingyan said
"Really? Weren't you place in the room opposite us?" She asked shocking Lu Jingyan
"Right. We are the one in the opposite room. Why are you asking?" Lu Jingyan asked
"Because you really are my sister in law" Leng Yumo said
"I think you are mistaken. I arrived at the hospital now and realized we were placed at the VIP ward. And I was told the one who ordered it was in this ward. So how could I be your sister in law?" Lu Jingyan asked
"Leng xuanmo. My brother" Leng Yumo said
"Leng xuanmo. Is your brother?" Lu Jingyan asked
"Yes. That why you are my sister in law" Leng Yumo said.
"How is your brother?" Lu Jingyan asked
"He's fine. The doctor said he's to wake up in three to four hours" Leng Yumo explained
"Alright. I came her to check up on him" she said
"Sister in law. Didn't you come here to check up on the one who placed you in the VIP ward?" Leng Yumo asked
*How can this girl be so thoughtful?* Lu Jingyan thought in her mind as she smiled
"Well. Since I found out that your brother is here why shouldn't I check up on him immediately?" Lu Jingyan asked
