Chapter 26 - 26

Chapter 26: So Good!

Watching Mo Fei's raised middle finger from the departing BMW M6, Bill was extremely displeased. He, one of Extreme Speedway's top drivers, had lost to a woman who suddenly appeared, and he had lost 20,000 U.S. dollars.

That bastard who won the money was even triumphantly flipping him off… Tyrese only emerged when Ji Ze'er's BMW M6 was out of sight.

"Tyrese, we agreed, if I win, it's mine; if I lose, it's yours." Bill glanced at Tyrese and said, "But you asked for my help. You're not going to make me pay to cover this hole, are you?"

Their original plan was to win big and take about 100,000 U.S. dollars from Ji Ze'er and Mo Fei, but they didn't expect to lose 20,000 U.S. dollars right at the start.

"20,000 U.S. dollars, it will be transferred directly to your account tomorrow," Tyrese said grumpily, a pained expression on his face.

His family had some assets, but all the money was in his father's hands. He only had some pocket money, so 20,000 U.S. dollars was not a small sum for him.

But money was a small matter; the key was his pride!

Having his hairline violently destroyed by two centimeters by Ji Ze'er was already infuriating. He wanted to get revenge and save face… and then he gave away another 20,000 U.S. dollars… The more Tyrese thought about it, the angrier he got, and his words became somewhat aggressive: "Bill, weren't you always bragging so much? How come you can't even beat a woman who suddenly appeared now?"

"Look at her skills, does she seem like a newcomer? She just wasn't racing here before; she must have been a master elsewhere." Annoyed by Tyrese's questioning tone, Bill said coldly, "If you're so capable, don't come to me; find someone who can beat her yourself!"

"What do you mean?"

"I don't mean anything. I just want to tell you that without your sister, you're nothing here! And you're acting like a big shot with me?" Bill turned and left.

"You useless piece of trash, who are you trying to fool!" Tyrese's face flushed red as he looked in the direction Ji Ze'er and Mo Fei had left, his gaze resentful: "Consider yourselves lucky today!"

…Half-mountain road.

A hand opened the car window, letting some of the strong scent dissipate from inside the car.

"Mo Fei, 25 years old, owner of Mo's Clinic in Chinatown…"

The low voice on the other end of the phone rang in Mo Fei's ear, immediately cooling his somewhat flushed head: "Who are you?"

"Frank Castle, one of your patients."

Mo Fei narrowed his eyes; it was Punisher.

As for why Punisher knew his phone number, Mo Fei wasn't surprised at all. If he couldn't even manage such a manipulation, how could he be known as the pinnacle of ordinary human combat power?

(Captain America: I can't do that, it seems I've disgraced ordinary humans!)

"Is that you? That Agent from the C.I.A.?" Mo Fei pretended to have just remembered Punisher's name: "What do you need me for?"

"Thank you for saving my life!"

"Haha, we Doctors are saving lives every moment; it's our calling. You don't need to specifically call to thank me." Mo Fei chuckled.

"I know my own injuries. If it weren't for you, I might not have been able to pull myself back from the brink of death."

Hearing Punisher's words, Mo Fei felt a little ashamed. If it weren't for me, you could have survived on your own. It was after me that you almost didn't make it.

"Haha, you actually discovered that. But this concerns my family's secret, please don't let anyone else know." Mo Fei shamelessly claimed the credit for himself.

"Understood. Also, I owe you a favor. If you ever run into trouble, you can give me a call."

After Punisher hung up, Mo Fei's phone received a text message with a string of numbers, which should be the phone number.

"An Agent from the C.I.A.? How did you get involved with them?" Once the call ended, Ji Ze'er, straddling Mo Fei's waist, asked curiously.

Mo Fei put one arm around Ji Ze'er's slender waist and held her long, fair leg in nude stockings with the other: "Nothing, I just happened to save a C.I.A. Agent. He was calling to thank me."

…"Screech!"

The BMW M6 stopped on a street in Chinatown.

Mo Fei got out of the car and took a deep breath. Away from the strong environment, the air immediately felt much fresher.

"Catch."

Mo Fei instinctively caught whatever Ji Ze'er threw at him.

Upon closer inspection, it was three stacks of Franklin, green and reassuringly secure.

This was the money Ji Ze'er had won back tonight.

"What does this mean?" Mo Fei frowned.

"Payment for services!"

"I'll be damned…"

Without waiting for Mo Fei to finish speaking, Ji Ze'er smiled lightly, feeling refreshed. She stomped on the accelerator, and the BMW M6 shot out like an arrow released from a bow.

A gentle breeze blew past, and Mo Fei, holding the three stacks of Franklin in a daze, finally came to his senses. He stared at the money in his hand, his eyes wide, then he swung his arm and slammed them onto the ground.

"Damn it! What kind of person do you think I, Mo Fei, am? Even if I, Mo Fei, starve to death in this life, die outside, or jump off the Empire State Building, I will never take money for selling myself!"

Mo Fei, fuming, turned and walked away.

After taking two steps, he looked back at the three thick stacks of Franklin on the ground, hesitated for a long time, then awkwardly walked back.

Standing in front of the Franklin, Mo Fei's face was full of conflict… He looked left and right.

No one!

Mo Fei struggled for a moment, then still bent down, picked them up.

As for integrity, it's fine if it drops; you can pick it up, dust it off, and continue using it. If it breaks, it's still fine; his several boxes of 502 at home aren't just for show!

Smelling the rich ink scent from the green Franklin, Mo Fei couldn't help but let out a heartfelt sigh of admiration: "So good!"
