Allison's POV
Raine smiled awkwardly. "The thing is… it seems Her Majesty doesn't know about the royal marriage yet, especially the ritual process."
I looked at her in confusion. "Wait, you mean it's the ritual that brought me back?"
Her eyes widened. "Ahhh, not that, Your Majesty!"
"Please be straightforward with me," I rolled my eyes. I hate zigzag answers. "How did I get here?"
"His Highness brought you back."
"How?" I frowned. I'm very sure he wasn't even there when I ran away. "How did he know? Who told him?"
Raine sighed. "We're still going back to the ritual topic, Your Majesty. You fainted from the great pain of your mark."
I blinked in disbelief. She's actually right...
"He sensed you were too far from him. According to the royal family's traditional marriage, you're not allowed to go too far until the honeymoon ends. That's why the maids only took you to the nearest market instead of the big one."
