Since they hadn't officially engaged in battle yet, Kakashi wasn't sure of the opponent's hundreds of ninjas' true level, but Mokgetsu wasn't someone who spoke without backing it up. On the contrary, Mokgetsu had always been modest; even though his strength surpassed the Candidate for the Raikage, Mokgetsu had never claimed he could definitely win back then.
So when Mokgetsu said he could quell the rebellion, Kakashi was certain it would work, with no unexpected incidents.
"But..." Kazahana Sosetsu still found it hard to believe.

Obito's confidence in Mokgetsu, Mokgetsu's confidence in himself, and the powerful, timely Fire Release made Sosetsu believe Mokgetsu could create a miracle.
"Hyofo, that's Habu Mokgetsu. Do you have confidence?" Seeing the terrifying power of Mokgetsu's Fire Release Ninjutsu, Doto turned to ask Kanko Hyofo.
Right now, the person Doto most wanted to eliminate, apart from Sosetsu, was Habu Mokgetsu. Since Mokgetsu arrived in the Snow Country, Doto hadn't had a single good day.
"Being able to fight a Jinchuriki, his strength is undoubtedly impressive. But if it's just like this, even without a Chakra Armor, I can beat him," Kanko Hyofo replied confidently.
The effects of Mokgetsu's attack could be achieved equally with his best Ninjutsu, Black Dragon Storm Kill, or even better.
"If he trains for a few more years, I might not be a match for him. If this kid doesn't die, he might become the next Sannin." Though he said he was definitely alright, Kanko Hyofo didn't underestimate Mokgetsu anymore.
