After the training ended, the five gathered at the Dango Shop again.
"Kakashi, where did you run into Minato this morning?" Obito couldn't wait to ask.
"Did you ask Minato about Teacher Mokgetsu's preferences? You didn't forget, did you?"
Today is the last day they agreed to brainstorm the gift; no matter what, they have to finalize it today.
"Do you think I'm like you? The reason I was a bit later than usual was because of this." Kakashi nodded, his words carried a slight bit of aggression from this morning.
Hearing this, the other three all looked at Kakashi, but what he said next was a bit disappointing to them.
"I asked, but even Minato didn't have the kind of information we wanted." Kakashi replied.
"Even Minato doesn't know, maybe Teacher Mokgetsu's only interests really are calligraphy and teaching, without any deeply hidden hobbies." Obito sighed, feeling like his hopes were in vain.
After all, even the students who spend time with him daily don't know; how could Namikaze Minato?
"But I think Minato said something very reasonable, just like Rin said before, just let the thought reach him." Kakashi said seriously.
"Think about it, is Teacher Mokgetsu teaching us so we can give him nice gifts? No, he'll be happy as long as we earnestly cultivate."
The students all fell into contemplation; Mokgetsu had said this to them all before.
"As long as your strength progresses, that's the best reward for me." Might Guy's thoughts couldn't help but drift back to when he first got first place in the class in a practical exam, Mokgetsu had told him this at that time.
The more time he spent with Mokgetsu, the more he felt that it was heartfelt rather than just pleasant words.
"That's right, the most important thing is to let the thought reach him." Might Guy gave a thumbs-up to Kakashi and said with approval.
"Indeed, Teacher Mokgetsu probably wouldn't want us to get stuck on such matters and delay our training." Shisui also nodded.
"Then let's quickly decide what to give." Obito stopped dwelling on it.
Nohara Rin looked at the faces of the four and suddenly thought of a good idea, so she smiled and said:
"Why don't we make some small sculptures for Teacher Mokgetsu? Each person makes one of themselves, and then we all complete Teacher Mokgetsu's together, just as we usually cultivate. When we're all done, we put them together."
Kakashi thought about it, and from the division of labor to the meaning of the gift, it seemed good, so he said, "I think it's a great idea."
"That's brilliant, Rin, are you a genius?" Obito chuckled and praised.
Might Guy and Shisui also nodded in agreement, thinking this gift was pretty good.
"I just suddenly felt that this would be nice. Even if we're not by Teacher Mokgetsu's side, our sculptures will accompany him." Nohara Rin said with a smile.
It was decided unanimously that the joint gift for Mokgetsu was set. The first three days, they would complete their own sculptures, and in the next two days, they would all work together to finish Mokgetsu's sculpture.
The issue of what to give was resolved, but Obito soon faced a new problem—making this thing wasn't easy.
After buying the materials and equipment and returning home, Obito looked at his sculpture of himself and finally sighed and tossed it into the trash can.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
In the end, Obito decided to use ninjutsu to help himself. This was going to stay with Mokgetsu, so it didn't have to be great, but at least it needed to resemble himself.
Considering this, Obito bought several sets of tools, and without any nonsense, his shadow clone got to work right after being summoned.
Aside from the group gift, Obito also didn't forget his own gift, finally completing the blueprint before going to sleep.

Kakashi and Shisui, Obito felt might be similar to him; after all, they also knew Shadow Clone.
As for Might Guy, Obito wasn't sure.
The three days passed quickly, and on the fourth day, the five disciples gathered with their finished products, ready to make Mokgetsu's sculpture.
Because they needed to create something, they opted not to meet at the Dango Shop but at Kakashi's house.
"Kakashi, you're amazing, how did you do it?" Nohara Rin immediately noticed the lifelike sculpture of Kakashi on the table.
Upon a closer look, she found that Kakashi even completed all the details; the face was masked, and the right hand held the White Fang Short Blade, in a pose about to charge forward and slash.
"Let me see." As soon as Obito heard Nohara Rin praise Kakashi so much, he sped up and ran over.
After seeing Kakashi's sculpture, Obito swallowed back the words he had prepared; the level was indeed beyond reproach.
"Obito, what do you think? I really think it looks like Kakashi." Nohara Rin smiled and asked Obito.
"Indeed, it's pretty good, quite similar, but I feel like there's room for improvement." Obito commented.
