"The effect of 'Vampire Retainer' in the graveyard is activated," Thousand Gold began to operate, "Use 'Vampire's Familiar' on the field as a tribute to Special Summon itself!"
The little bat quickly retreated from the field, and a half-black, half-white Vampire Retainer appeared on the field.
[Vampire Retainer, ATK 1200]
"Retainer's effect, upon Special Summoning, pay 500 Life Points to add a 'Vampire' Magic Trap Card from the deck to the hand.
Add Continuous Magic 'Vampire's Domain' to the hand."
[Vampire Fraulein, LP 4000 → LP 3500]
"Then, the effect of 'Vampire's Familiar' in the graveyard is activated! Send 'Vampire Grimson' from the hand to the graveyard to Special Summon itself!"
[Vampire's Familiar, DEF 0]
"Familiar's effect, upon successful Special Summoning, pay 500 Life Points to add a 'Vampire' Monster from the deck to the hand.
I add 'Shadow Vampire' from the deck to the hand."
[Vampire Fraulein, LP 3500 → LP 3000]
"Continuous Magic 'Vampire's Domain' is activated!" Vampire Fraulein continued, "As long as this card exists, by paying 500 Life Points, an additional Normal Summon of 'Vampire' Monsters can be made."
[Vampire Fraulein, LP 3000 → LP 2500]
"Using 'Vampire Retainer' as a tribute, Tribute Summon!" Thousand Gold waved her small hand, "The shadow's blood race——
——Shadow Vampire!"
The retainer disappeared from the field, and a humanoid silhouette appeared in the twisting black fog. The footsteps of the giant were heavy as they stomped on the ground, with a sturdy body as if forged from rock, its red eyes particularly striking in the darkness.
[Shadow Vampire, ATK 2000]
"Shadow Vampire, activate effect." Thousand Gold said, "Upon successful Summoning, Special Summon one 'Vampire' Monster from hand or deck, other than 'Shadow Vampire'!"
As she spoke, a card popped out from her deck.
"Special Summon 'Vampire Scarlet Scourge' from the deck."
Like a giant bat streaking across the horizon, the vampire in black and white uniform floated down lightly, moving with gentleman-like elegance, yet with a sinister and bizarre smile on its lips.
[Vampire Scarlet Scourge, ATK 2200]
"Then the effect of Scarlet Scourge," Vampire Fraulein continued, "Pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon a 'Vampire' Monster from the graveyard.
I Special Summon the 'Vampire Grimson' that was sent to the grave earlier!"
[Vampire Fraulein, LP 2500 → LP 1500]
Paying 1000 Life Points at once, a black vortex opened at the side, as the death-like vampire slowly rose from the vortex leading straight to the Netherworld, holding a grim-reaping scythe.
[Vampire Grimson, ATK 2000]
"Set two cards face-down, turn ends."
A series of narrative, Thousand Gold finally concluded with two set cards as a period, ending this turn.
The vampires around had already started to stir.
"Oh oh, truly worthy of Her Majesty the Queen! Summoned such a powerful lineup in one go..."
"Ha, those warriors from another dimension stand no chance!"
But what they didn't expect was, on the other side, some of the fools not only didn't counter them, didn't cheer for their own side, but actually chimed in.
"Yes yes! Your Queen is really amazing!"
Vampires: "???."
"Honestly, which side are those teachers even on?" Manjome felt he couldn't stand it any longer.
"Don't mind them, they're always like this." Ed said, "More importantly, Youyu is about to make a move!"
Glancing at the vampire setup at the start of Thousand Gold's field, Youyu smiled lightly.
"A truly luxurious lineup... but this makes it interesting."
Youyu restrained his smile and showed a serious expression.
"When faced with a crisis a single Hero cannot combat, Heroes will gather to form an alliance, solving issues that only can be resolved with joint efforts. This is an inevitability in every world containing 'Heroes'."
Youyu paused for a moment.
"So let me specially demonstrate here the power of Heroes united!"
He drew a card, quickly picking one from his hand to put forward.
"Magic Card 'E - Emergency Call', add one 'Elemental Hero' from the deck to the hand." Youyu said, "I add 'Elemental Hero Airman' to the hand.
Then, Normal Summon 'Elemental Hero Airman'!"
A milky-white whirlwind and a flying Hero clad in high-tech armor landed gently on the turbine vortex.
[Elemental Hero Airman, ATK 1800]
"Airman's effect!" Youyu said, "Upon successful Summoning, add a 'Hero' Monster from the deck to the hand."
"Negated." Thousand Gold flipped up a set card, "Counter Trap 'Vampire's Domination'! When a Vampire is present on one's field, negate and destroy the opponent's Magic, Trap, or Monster Effect activation.
Afterwards, if the negated is a Monster card, then restore Life Points equal to that Monster's attack value."
She extended a slender finger.
"Negate the effect of 'Elemental Hero Airman'!"
The forbidden power of the vampires exploded, Airman was enveloped in a blood mist gathering from all directions, the high-tech armor on his entire body cracking and moaning with a "bang" and grief, and the entire person exploded away.
"I restore Life Points equal to 'Elemental Hero Airman's attack value," Thousand Gold continued, "which is 1800 points."
[Vampire Fraulein, LP 1500 → LP 3300]
"Interrupted the opponent's key action and restored a vast amount of life on this basis!" One vampire couldn't help but praise, "Truly worthy of Her Majesty the Queen!"
Fools: "Her Majesty's amazing!" (Voice breaking)
Vampires: "..."
Vampire's Domination, this Counter Trap indeed counts as one of the Vampire's key cards. It can negate any effect and additionally carry a powerful life-drain ability—this point is truly powerful for the vampires, a rare low-life-point deck.
More importantly, this Trap can be searched by Monster effects, making it more stable.
Airman's negation is quite damaging, at times even a fatal wound to Heroes.
But not today.
"Then activate Magic Card 'Foolish Burial' from the hand." Youyu said, "Send any Monster from the deck to the graveyard.
I send 'Elemental Hero Shadow Mist' from the deck to the graveyard."
Shadow Mist sent to the grave, the Heroes re-entered their operational rhythm.
"When 'Elemental Hero Shadow Mist' is sent to the graveyard, add a 'Hero' Monster from the deck to the hand." Youyu said, "I add 'Vision Hero Faris' from the deck to the hand."
Omnipotent Faris added to the hand, numerous card players quickly became excited, chanting some strange slogans. Like "Faris creates all things", "DNA moves me, I'm not playing anymore", and so forth.
Next comes the stage for Heroes!
