With the removal of Olga's abilities, Uzuki Tempura discovered the enemies before him were indeed Oden's Household Attendants, leading him to cease resisting. Kaidou casually tossed Enma and Ame no Habakiri forward.

"Boom!"

"Crash!" A collapsing beam of the building fell, leaving Kaidou covered in pebbles. Unlike most wooden structures, this palace used quite a bit of stone material.

After throwing a small stone to quiet the scene, Kaidou finally spoke his piece.
"Kozuki Oden is dead. Does anyone here want to surrender?"
"No... impossible, Lord Oden couldn't... Lord Oden couldn't possibly die here!" Ashura Doji roared angrily, unwilling to believe it, yet tears streamed down as he denied Kaidou.
Enma and Ame no Habakiri were Kozuki Oden's swords; there was no mistaking those swords. Given that, them ending up in Kaidou's hands could only mean Oden had fallen in battle, a truth Ashura Doji struggled to accept.
Most of Oden's Household Attendants shared the same reaction as Ashura Doji.
"Raizo, Kikunojo, hurry back and escort Lady Toki away. I'll hold them off even if it costs me my life...."
In his grief, Ashura Doji again picked up his weapon. Unlike the other Household Attendants, he acknowledged only Kozuki Oden, not the entire Kozuki Family.
With Kozuki Oden having perished, Ashura Doji saw no reason to retreat; dying here in battle was his end.
"Go, quickly!"
Yelling at them again, Ashura Doji got Kikunojo and Raizo to move. Just as Queen was about to attack the escaping Kikunojo and Raizo, Kaidou stopped him.
"Big Brother Kaidou, what are you doing? Letting them go?"
"Yamato needs a target, some vengeful enemy remnant. What's better than this lot?"
Explaining his action, Kaidou glanced at Ashura Doji's heroic expression once more.
"Interesting eyes, I admire you. Want to join me? And the rest of you, as the daimyo of each region, you don't want to die here, do you?"
No one answered Kaidou, only blades charging at him in response.
"I see.... I understand now. Subdue them, try to capture them alive. Olga, stop slacking; as a leading figure, you can't just watch."
With the captain's arrival, Olga's slacking had come to an end, and Kaidou focused on the determined Ashura Doji before him.
