Chapter 15 - Chapter 13 The Purge

Only three weeks had passed since the wedding between Auron and Lily.

A soft stillness lay across the woods that night, the kind of quiet that only came when the moon hung heavy, watching, waiting.

Auron stepped out from the Hunt's camp, silver eyes glowing like twin stars. His bow rested casually across his shoulder, an afterthought compared to the divine power humming under his skin.

Behind him, a portal swirled open.Hecate stepped through, expression sharp.

"Auron," she said calmly, "your wedding gift from the Underworld is ready."

Auron cracked his neck."Voldemort?"

Hecate nodded."Hades detained him, stabilized the half-soul he carried, and kept him in stasis. He was…complaining. Loudly."

Auron smirked."That won't be a problem for long."

Hecate raised a brow. "You're going tonight?"

Auron turned to look at his family, Lily laughing with Artemis over tea, Harry running around practicing fire sparks with two Hunters attempting to extinguish his sleeves.

"Tonight," he said firmly. "He threatened them once. I won't allow him to threaten anyone else ever again."

Hecate smiled softly grandmother pride mixed with a witch's approval.

"I'll take you."

The portal widened.

Auron stepped through.

Hades greeted him with a clipboard.

"Before you go in," the Lord of the Dead said dryly, "please understand that this man has been screaming for thirty-six hours straight. I take no responsibility for anything you hear."

Auron nodded solemnly."Understood."

Hades opened the cell door.

Inside, Voldemort hung suspended in a pillar of black-purple flame, frozen mid-rant.

"AND I AM LORD VOL!"

Auron raised a hand.

The Force flicked.

Silence.

"Thank the Furies," Hades muttered. "He's been giving me migraines."

Auron approached the prisoner.Voldemort's red eyes widened in terror.

"You," he hissed hoarsely. "You are you are not mortal."

"Nope," Auron replied cheerfully. "And you're not immortal."

His hand extended.

Each fragment: Riddle's Diary, Marvolo Gaunt's Ring, Salazar Slytherin's Locket, Helga Hufflepuff's Cup, Rowena Ravenclaw's Diadem, and even that dumb snake. A brittle, cracked echo within Voldemort's body, and Auron incinerated Voldemort in divine silver flame.

Voldemort screamed.

Auron didn't flinch.

Hades watched, impressed."Well," he said. "That was efficient."

Auron nodded. "Mother always said: If you want something hunted, do it clean."

Voldemort collapsed to the stone floor, now fully mortal, gaunt, trembling, and pathetically small.

He croaked, "W-why… why are you doing this…?"

Auron crouched in front of him and spoke with quiet, terrifying calm.

"Because you hurt my family. And because you won't hurt anyone else again."

Voldemort tried to summon magic.

Auron flicked a finger.

The wandless power tore through the chamber like a wave of moonlight.

Voldemort disintegrated.

Not dramatically.Not explosively.

Just… gone.Erased. Like a stain wiped clean.

Hades blinked."…I like your style."

Auron dusted his hands."Send his soul through proper judgment?"

"Oh, absolutely," Hades said. "Straight to the judges. With a note."

He scribbled on his clipboard:"Attempted war criminal. Also annoying."

Auron clapped him on the shoulder."Thanks, Uncle."

"Anytime, kid."

Auron returned through the portal into warm firelight.

Lily looked up first.

"Auron? Did you…?"

"It's done," he said simply.

Her shoulders sagged with relief so deep that her knees nearly buckled. Auron caught her instantly.

Harry ran up, wide-eyed."Moony-Dad? You killed the bad guy?"

Auron ruffled his hair."Yeah, kid. He won't be bothering anyone."

Harry grinned proudly."I told Zoë you'd beat him. She said you'd cheat. I said that counts."

Zoë, overhearing, shrugged. "He did cheat. He is a god."

Phoebe added, "And it was still hot."

Artemis approached, eyes soft with maternal pride.

"My son," she said quietly, "you finished a hunt before it ever truly began."

Auron bowed."It's what you taught me."

Lily kissed him.Not desperate.Not fearful.

Just full of peace.

"We're truly free," she whispered. "No prophecy. No Dark Lord. No Dumbledore. No Ministry. Nothing hanging over Harry."

Auron smiled back.

"That was the goal."
