Who would've thought that the child had a secret bloodline? Lastly, Yoichi was very discreet and calm, concealing such hidden information until now.
"So what are you trying to say, Hanzō? That I've let the child get away with his eyes?" Hayate mused, feeling disappointed by Hanzō's statement even more. In his eyes, this Hanzō truly changed ever since he took control of the power he'd gotten.
Earlier, Hayate read Yoichi's letter given to him by Genji. To summarize the content of the letter, Yoichi decided to abandon Amegakure due to its lack of resources, the risk of his precarious situation, and the geographical landscape. The child even left 10 Gold Bars and 5 Million Ryō in case of Genji and the rest might mishandle the tremendous amount of cash.
"Isn't that actually the case, Hayate? You took care of that clever brat for his time here in Amegakure and now you are feigning ignorance? I implore that Hanzō-sama's punishment mustn't be lenient!"
Kneeling with his persuasive yet venomous words, Kouji sneered at himself, laced with disdain and contempt towards Hayate. In contrast, Motoyasu still fell silent for a long time, unable to process the matter and felt very conflicted about the situation.
He was also partly responsible for this circumstance yet Hayate took the brunt of the focused fire of Hanzō and Kouji. However, Motoyasu didn't even say a word, extricating himself from the equation and preventing himself from being collateral damage in this ongoing case.
I'm very sorry, Hayate. I'm still young and wanted to prove myself in front of them. Motoyasu lowered his head, appearing a bit unusual for his characteristics as a flamboyant guy.
Looking at Motoyasu's downcast expression, Hayate sighed and thought, It's fine, Motoyasu. I'd never known it would happen... But that child was truly crafty, even using me as a stepping stone for his departure...

A fiery glint emerged from Hayate's eyes as he departed from the room with gusto, planning to leave Amegakure with the talents he pulled within.
In his chair, Hanzō felt victorious as a powerful blow was struck to Hayate's reputation like a decapitation strike. Now, his thoughts were on how to deal with Yoichi, the betrayer of Amegakure.
"Kouji, Motoyasu... Form a team and infiltrate Konoha along with your groups. Then, kill the child immediately before the Uchiha and the Hokage could take action. This urgent mission must be confidential and only your teams know about it, do you understand?" Laced with a murderous tone, Hanzō commanded his skilled Jōnin on a journey.
An assassination of an extraordinary child.
After that, Kouji and Motoyasu heeded the order with urgency in mind, forming the group within an hour's notice. Soon, the teams were properly briefed and took off with anger boiling in their minds.
A betrayer must shed its blood regardless of the process.
