The moment the entire demonic figure of Rocks appeared, Thor knew deep down that he had failed to protect his friend, Xebec. It was a crushing realization, as attacking a friend was the only thing that he had been dreading to do since arriving on this cursed island.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?" Thor yelled towards Imu with pure rage, as he summoned his Stormbreaker into his grip.
He started attacking towards Imu with the intent to kill, but his strikes were stopped dead by the demonized Rocks, who had become so much stronger than Thor in raw physical power.
"There's nothing that could alleviate a person's entire existence to it's pinnacle more than becoming a demon, you, Prince of Elbaph, had outgrown my patience, if you're not the one to do my bidding.
There's always your father. he's a much more understanding than the likes of you, who had been influenced by the mindset of a Davy.
This is your end now, Prince of Elbaph!" Imu said towards Thor in a cold, lecturing tone.
As he spoke, he summoned another weapon from his floating grimoire, and this time, it is a sword.
There is a pitch black flame that had been coming out of it, pulsating with a dark aura, as Imu gave it towards the demonic Rocks to wield.
"With this blade, Imu order you to kill the prince of elbaph, as well as everyone in God Valley," Imu gave his orders calmly as he transforms back into its earlier state where it is a more spider like creature instead of his original towering devil form.
Rocks immediately goes to work without hesitation, as he swung his sword, which was covered in both advance conqueror's and armament haki to boot. Thor tried to fight back desperately, as he forced all of his strength and haki to coat towards his weapon to parry the blow.
But despite the efforts, Thor found himself knocked upwards into the sky from the strike of Rocks, showcasing the devastating strength of Rocks that had been controlled and amplified by Imu.
For the first time once again, Thor found himself in a disadvantage against Rocks, something that does not happen again since he is younger and they were sparring partners.
Thor released a concentrated ice energy within his hands to counter the heat of the black flames, as he fired it upon Rocks, following it immediately with another batch to create distance.
Rocks got frozen solid by the ice ball, but this is not Thor's true target. Thor pivoted and fired upon Imu, and this time, it is much more colder than his standard attacks, as it is the concentrated ice energy that he would use before firing True Ice.
When Imu got hit by the True Ice Energy, he was momentarily slowed. Seizing this window, Thor used his beast form.
This time, he pushed the limits, which slowly make him even more bigger than his standard giant form.
His horns become even more pointed and jagged, while another set of two horns come out on the side of his head, giving him a primordial appearance.
Thor's skin turned a deep, glacial blue, while a long white beard appeared on his face, signifying his ascension to a higher state of being.
When the transformation finished, Thor had become a colossus, standing 2000 meters tall, casting a shadow over the entire island.
His feet were slowly releasing frozen tundra that spread across the land, as his breath released massive clouds of cold air.
Thor then turned towards his hands, as he summoned his Stormbreaker, which grew beside his form to match his new size.
The entire Stormbreaker become 3000 meters in length, following the ratio that the Stormbreaker is bigger than him by 1 meter if he is in his 2 meter form.
Therefore, when he transformed 1000 times his size, the Stormbreaker would transform a thousand times as well, becoming a weapon capable of shattering continents.
Thor's true form had attracted the entire Island's attention, as it is harder to not notice an entire being that is even taller than the mountain standing beside him. But Thor did not mind all the stares of the ants below, as he lifted up his weapon high into the atmosphere.
"RAGNAROK!" Thor then yelled once again, his voice booming like thunder. He attacked the frozen forms of Imu and Rocks with all of his might, and when he transformed into an 2000 meter giant, his strength grew exponentially as well.
The moment Thor's strike hit the two, as well as the ground beneath them, everyone on God Valley felt the earth lurch violently.
The impact was so severe that it suddenly dropped the island's foundation, as Thor directly made the entire God Valley fall by a couple of centimeters into the sea.
But Thor relented not one bit as he continuously pounded his hammer towards both Rocks and Imu, who had been frozen every time he had strike them to keep them pinned.
Again and again, Thor's hammer met the two, creating shockwaves that cleared the sky.
Every time Thor swung his weapon, the entire God Valley sunk a little bit deeper into the ocean, but the side of Thor where he had been attacking Rocks and Imu was sinking significantly more, tilting the island.
This all culminated into one more fight ending blow, where Thor had jumped into the air and swung his hammer for the last time. When he did, the entire section of the island he was in collapsed under the pressure.
In which, an entire rupture in the entire God Valley appeared, splitting the earth, as it then slowly gained speed into dividing the entire island into fragmented pieces.
Garp, Roger, and Newgate saw this cataclysmic event, as they jumped across the widening fissures towards the place where Thor had been on to regroup.
"Thor! What happened?" Newgate loudly yelled towards Thor. However, Thor did not hear the voice of Newgate, as he is in an entirely different state of focus and exhaustion. But Thor knew through his observation haki that Newgate, Roger, and Garp had arrived beside him.
Thor used his weapon to shrink himself down, still retaining his beast form, but he did not expect that instead of just being in 2 meters tall, he stopped shrinking at nearly 20 meters tall, his body unable to compress further due to the energy he expended.
"Rocks had been infected by that monster, he become a mindless devil at a cast of a spell," Thor said, his voice heavy as he explained Rocks' situation. He pointed to where Rocks is still trapped in the remnants of the true ice, while Imu had been freed on the True Ice and was regenerating.
"Hmmmm, there's something I would like to ask you. In every single strong individuals in this island, Garp, Roger, Newgate, Linlin. Kaido.
I'm sure they would be a fine addition to your entire army, but instead, you only chose Rocks, the one that you knew had been born here, is there some kind of limitations on your powers that would only work if they are in their born homeland?" Thor asked towards Imu, presenting his deduction.
Imu did not reply to the question, but instead, the silence was broken as Rocks had gotten out of his frozen prison, shattering the ice.
"You have no right to question the great one," Rocks uncharacteristically said towards them.
The sound of his voice devoid of his usual brash personality made Roger, Garp, and Newgate shock, as well as realize the gravity of the situation in an instant.
Rocks is the foremost enemy of the World Government and a man of immense pride, and this subservience is something that every single one member of the Rocks Pirates knew was impossible for the real Xebec.
"What really happened to you Rocks?" Newgate then asked with genuine pain in his voice, which was met with Rocks attacking them blindly. While the trio engaged Rocks, Thor continued to stare at Imu, who had been looking back at him with a calculating gaze.
"It seems my words is true, you could only forcibly make others obey with your Devil Fruit if they are in the place they were born, so, that's why you're continously asking me to join you instead of doing the same thing towards me," Thor said, finally making another conclusion on Imu's abilities and why he hadn't been enslaved yet.
"Prince of Elbaph, your mind is something to be envied at, as you have intelligence that would put my current elders to shame, if only you had gotten smart and join, your servitude towards the World Government would always be welcomed.
Instead, you chose to ally yourself with this pirates, you, who had been born a noble, chose to live amonst pirates, but no matter, you would have your final use, you would be the reason to tether the link between pirates and my army of giants, as your death would solidify the treacherous image of pirates," Imu finally said towards Thor, revealing his grand plan to frame the pirates for Thor's death.
"Your strongest soldier is fighting three of the strongest person in this world, how could you say that Rocks is going to kill me?
I know your too lazy to do something yourself, your throne is something that you had grown comfortable" Thor said, mocking the sovereign as he got ready with his hammer to strike. But before he could do so, he was suddenly attacked in his back.
This time, Thor had really did not expect this, as he was stabbed by Imu's trident through the chest.
It was something that Thor had never see coming, or even felt from his Observation Haki, which should have warned him.
This directly caught him off guard, as he was stabbed directly towards his heart. When he turned to see who attacked him, it shocked him to the core.
It is a figure of Rocks, but in a darker, more shadow like figure, almost like a silhouette brought to life, acting independently instead of Rocks' original form, who still had been fighting against Newgate, Roger, and Garp a distance away.
