Two Hours. It's been two hours since Ryoken has been running through the forest aimlessly, in hopes of finding Akiza.
At first he thought it would be an easy task. He had spirits on his side and a map thanks to the system. But his sense of direction was bad and he got lost in the forest even with a map.
Putting that matter aside, he was wondering how different this Akiza was going to be from her canon counterpart in 5DS.
"You know you can ask Magik to find her, right?" Medea suggested.
"What do you mean?"
"Magik is from the Dark magician archetype, so shouldn't he be familiar with the magical arts he used? like a navigation spell."
"..." He pondered on it silently, before deciding to give it a shot. "Magik, can you help me out?"
As he called out the name, Magikuriboh appeared, wiggling his staff happily upon being called by Ryoken.
"I need to find someone. She has red hair, and is probably wearing a green hospital gown."
Magik tilted his as he heard the description before nodding, eager to help Ryoken. He felt useless since Medea and Furious Dragon did all the spirit work for Ryoken, so he wanted to do his best since he relied on him.
Ryoken seeing this couldn't help but smile "Thanks buddy. I knew I could count on you."
Magik made a happy kuri kuri noise before moving his staff again, which glowed in a faint red colour. He then began to go in a random direction, which Ryoken followed.
As he followed him, he noticed that they were slowly leaving the forest area and now were close to the Volcano.
And sure enough, as he went up the hill and the rocky path of the Volcano, he saw Akiza sitting on a boulder.
Ryoken hated it when he read fics and novels, people described how better characters looked in person than in anime. But now he understood what they meant.
Skin as white as snow, brown eyes, and dark crimson hair that reached her waist. Her eyes however were hollow, as if she was broken.
Yet that didn't diminish her otherworldly beauty and looks. 'Yusei really pulled a baddie huh?'

Akiza Pov
She didn't remember anything. The moment she opened her eyes, she saw herself floating in some sort of liquid.
The longer she stayed in it, the more she felt she was close to losing conscious again. She didn't remember anything but knew she had to get out of here.
She tried to move her body, but it proved to be futile. As if the simplest movement would cause her a great pain.
Yet she tried as she felt the pain all over her body. She didn't want to be confied anymore.
That's when it hit her. A broken memory, the appearance of a demonic being, mocking her and crushing her in a duel. That's when she felt a rage boiling through her, a rage she didn't know existed in her.
But before completely losing control, a long crimson dragon appeared, giving her strength to control herself, before it crashed her prison and freed her.
She could finally move, the weird greenish liquid wasn't there to stop her anymore. The dragon looked at her one more time, before leaving her. In its place was left a deck of cards which she unconsciously grabbed.
"Oh my how did this one get out?"
She turned towards the voice, the simple appearance of that person making her feel sick. The man Infront of her had a sick and horrifying smile on his face, as if he was a child and had found a toy to break.
Simply put, he screamed danger. So she did what she had to do, or atleast what she felt was right. Something like an instinct was telling her what to do.
She grabbed a duel disk, and put the deck she acquired into it. Without wasting a second, she played the top card, tendrils of vines shooting towards the professor like a whip and hitting him, making him crash to the laboratorys wall.
After that everything was blurry. How she got out of there? she didn't remember. She had just left everything to the power that was controlling her body.
The moment she got the control of her body back, she was on the peak of a Volcano, looking down at the lava that was burning down and deep inside it.
She saw a boulder and decided to sit there, to gather her thoughts and know what the purpose for her existence was.
that's when she noticed a person approaching him and immediately got on guard, raising the duel disk she stole from the laboratory.
Before the boy could even say anything, she played the same card she used against the mad scientist.
Powered by her psychic powers, the card came into reality and a few vine tendrils shot out towards the boy.
But much to her surprise, the boy simply stood there as her attack approached him. The moment the vines were going to hit him, a white coloured shield appeared in front of him, blocking her attack.
"That's one way to say hello." The boy muttered before he saw hee reaction, making him smile "Didn't expect anyone else to be like you?"
"No... I didn't." She replied, and was about to play the next card to attack him again before the boy interrupted her.
"Hey wait! Why are you even attacking me?"
To be fair the boy had a point. She didn't feel any danger from him unlike when she saw that scientist. Rather, she felt a strange connection to the boy.
"I don't know... I don't remember anything. Nothing about who I am, and what I'm doing here."
"That's rough." The boy muttered before raising his duel disk "Do you want to duel?"
She tilted her head, looking at him cluelessly "Duel?"
"You have a duel disk and a deck of cards. With those we can play a game known as duel monsters." He explained.She glanced at the cards in her deck, shard of broken memories coming to her mind, as if giving her information on what dueling is.
She didn't know why but a feeling told her to accept the boys' offer. She didn't have anything better to do, so might as well do this before she decides to end her life.
"You know how to duel or should I teach you?" He asked.
"I... know how to duel." She replied in a quiet voice before activating her duel disk, similar to what the boy did.

"I'll go first." The boy who she now knew was named Ryoken said, taking the first move.
"I set a monster facedown and set two cards to end my turn."

"I draw." Akiza saidas she drew the card on top of her deck.

"Next I activate Fragrance Storm to destroy Glow-Up Bulb on my field to draw 1 a card!"
The one eyes plant on her field was swept away by the storm of thorns that appeared. After that she drew a card.
"I activate Glow-Up Bulbs effect. When its in my graveyard, I can send the top card of my deck to the graveyard to summon it again!"

"By returning a plant type monster on my field to my hand, I can special summon Fallen Angel of Roses! I return Glow-Up Bulb to summon her!"

"Then I equip my monster with Thorn of Malice, when equipped my monster gains 600 attack points!"
Fallen Angel of Roses 2400 + 600 -> 3000ATK
"Battle phase, Fallen angel of roses attacks your set monster! When a monster equipped with Thorns of Malice attacks a defence position monster, my opponent still takes piercing damage! But their monster is not destroyed by battle."
As the attack hit the set card, a hedgehog appeared, a few quilbolts were sticking out from his back.

"My monster's attack points is 3000, and your defence point is 800, you take 2200 points of damage!"
Ryoken LP: 4000 - 2200 -> 1800
As the attack went through, the thorn hit Ryoken like a whip, making him gasp from pain as his coat was torn, leaving a scar on his arm.
Akiza noticed the scar and held her hands in front of her mouth from shock. She didn't want to hurt him like this.
A flood of memories came to her, memories she didn't know she had. Scenes of people being hurt by her during duels, calling her a despicable monster.
"I... I'm sorry I didn't mean t-" But Ryoken cut her off, chuckling as he saw her worried reaction.
"It's fine. You pack quite a punch huh? guess that means I can't hold back against you."
Akiza stared at him for a second before setting a card and ending her turn.
This boy... he didn't look at her like she was some sort of monster. Quite the opposite, it appeared that he enjoyed it... was he perhaps a masochist?

Yes, Ryoken is going to use Yusei's deck against her. Ofcourse with a few tiny modifications. By the way, one of the two set cards he set during the first turn was Ironscrap Scarecrow. Yet he didn't use it against her and took damage. is he really a masochist or is it part of his plan? Who knows.
Bing watched the second season of Hazbin hotel and it was quite disappointing. Too much musical and less of action and actual plot or story. Other than Vox going berserk and Alastor shitting on him, nothing else was that noteworthy.
