It was supposed to be a normal trip to the top floor. Richard and Jenna entered the mansion's old elevator, only for it to stop halfway. Jenna panicked immediately.
"I'm not staying in here all day!" she exclaimed, pressing buttons like a madwoman.
Richard stood calmly, arms crossed. "It's an elevator. It's not going anywhere."
Suddenly, the lights flickered, plunging them into semi-darkness. Jenna yelped and grabbed his arm. "I knew this was a trap! Trapped with a ruthless CEO!"
Richard's lips twitched. "I'm not the one panicking."
Minutes passed, and Jenna attempted to entertain herself by narrating their potential doom in the most dramatic fashion: "And then the CEO turns… into a zombie…"
Richard chuckled quietly, finally losing the usual control. Jenna threw a mock punch at him, and the elevator shook slightly. Both gasped, then broke into laughter.
When the elevator finally moved, they stumbled out, still holding onto each other for balance. Even in ridiculous circumstances, their bond grew stronger.
