As per usual, Joe got up lazily from his cozy bed and went to take a nice hot shower, after that, he had his heavy breakfast and was taken to school in one of his parents' nice cars. Although he wasn't academically poor, Joe really never gave it his all when it came to his school life.
IN JOE'S CLASS
"Joe. What's up. " Rose,his girlfriend greeted him cheerfully while Joe entered the class.
"Yo, Flower. What's up.'' Joe replied, to which Rose responded with a peck on the cheek.
They both took their respective seats and
started;
"Although, I have welcomed you like this, I am upset with you" Rose complained.
"Upset?.... about what?" Joe asked.
"That's how much you've stopped caring about me...." "Shhhh.. sugar lips, you know you can tell me anything, what makes you upset?" Joe interrupted.
" You told me that we would go at the En
Cie Kay Mall.... And that was supposed to be three days ago but you never bothered to tell me why you didn't come to pick me up let alone address the situation the next day.
"... I'll see." Joe said while bitting his lips.
" 'I'll see' That's it?" Rose frowned and looked at the front. After doing that, a teacher came in and lessons began.
DURING THEIR BREAK TIME
Joe and his friends were chatting.
"So, you mean she has been avoiding talking to you, just because you didn't take her to some Mall?" Matt asked Joe.
"You know what, forget about her. We are here for you." Matt said.
"Yeah" Mike, Tom and Bob seconded.
Joe's day continued pretty normal, the only thing he could complain about was his girlfriend not talking to him.
Planning to complain to his mother about not giving him the pocket money (the money he used to party with, with his friends/ and his girlfriend) he used to receive.However he was stopped in his tracks as he saw people moving their furniture out of the house as he was getting off the car.
"Mom?" Joe's mother who was watching the men move things out of the house looked at her son and told him to go in her car while following him from behind.
"Jj..." " Mom, I'm in the tenth Grade now ,so would you please stop calling me Jj" Joe interrupted his mother.
His mother chuckled, started the engine and started " our companies are facing legal issues,living costs would be unbearable here, so we decided to move."
"To move... where?" Joe asked with some frustration, he loved their mansion.
"Moving from Munati Camp to Myala Compound" She answered.
"....Myala?" Joe was taken by surprise.
