*Clara's POV*
Two months ago when me and Raphael were deep in our relationship he gave me his spear key to his apartment so i decided to pay him a surprise visit, getting to his apartment the first thing that welcomed me was a lady's handbag on the table and a pair of heels beside the couch , then suddenly i heard soft moaning sounds coming from the direction of his bedroom , i followed the sounds i heard and when i reached hi door , his door was slightly ajar . through that narrow space i saw what i did not want to believe , i saw Raphael fully naked on top of my best friend Maya! , i did not want to believe what my eyes were seeing right now but i see Raphael moving in and out of Maya passionately with Maya matching each of his thrust , i gasped out loud not believing what my eyes were seeing.
I just stood there , feeling a lump in my throat as i felt tears in my eyes and me being nailed to the ground out of shook.
I stood there long enough for Maya to notice me "Clara!" she called out , trying to cover her self as she saw me.
Raphael was looking at me with his eyes wide open and guilt present in them "Clara what are you doi...it's not what seems okay" he tried to defend himself
I just stood there not caring what they were saying , i didn't utter a word i just stared at them. i just let out a quiet laugh sounded more like i was choking.
"wow" i said softly "i was just coming over to surprise you and resolve the issue we were having but turns out there was a surprise waiting for me how ironic".
I threw the spare key at them and it fell to the ground making a loud sound that echoed through out the now quiet room.
"Don't bother following or trying to reach out to me , you've done enough" i added as i stormed out the apartment.
"willows bar"
Clara sat at a dim part of the bar crying her eyes out while drinking a very strong alcohol trying to numb the heavy feeling she felt in her chest. she pulled out her phone and called the only person she could think her roommate 'Zael'.
*Clara's POV*
I called Zael on the phone and she picked after two rings , i could not speak , just soft soft muffled sounds spillied out of my mouth.
"Clara what's wrong? where are you?" zael asked in a concerned tone.
"at willows bar" i answered .
she then arrived in twenty minutes.
the moment i saw her at the entrance everything i had been holding back collapsed, my tears came rushing out like a broken dam like it had been waiting for permission, zael rushed to meet me and wrapped her arms around i could barely breath, but i didn't care, i didn't want to breathe i just wanted to disappear.
"don't worry i got you" she whispered into my ear.
"I'm here,clara you are safe".
we sat there no word were spoken,just the understanding who knows what heartbreak feels like. after some time passed she took me to my car and drove me home.
i didn't utter a word out the entire ride i just stared out the window,wondering how love could be a betrayal so quickly.
when we arrived home no one was awake so zael took me to my room, and tucked me in bed.she had to leave because of some emergency.
"why did it have to end like this after all we've been through together since high school, i knew him for four years and he was always so sweet to me, even though he can be a jerk some times, i did not expect him to go as far as cheating on me with my best friend maya of all girls!!" she says to herself as she continues to cry in heart break, as she cries herself to sleep. Then the orb by her bedside suddenly began to glow a deep blue light collecting all her tears including the ones on her face and pillow.Then a figure flashed in the dark looking at the sleeping girl on the bed.

*the next morning*.
The heart broken girl wakes up to her alarm going on,she hesitates to get up but she then remembers she cant let her siblings or parents see her like this then raph would really be in trouble due to the fact his parents were her family friends,motived has she thinks she is, she springs up from bed as she runs her hand through her tangled thick hair, she begins to make her way downstairs to get he self some coffee,as she prepares her beverage she starts to think to her self.
*Clara's pov*.
After the very hectic night i had i decided i should just let things be, things happen for a reason right, the last thing i need in my life is more drama even if what they did to me felt like i was stabbed repeatedly and the dagger was twisted a lot , i should just move on from this whole mess. if not for zael's care and comfort last night i would still be feeling down.
zael has always been a very good friend to me,i considered her like a sister she always looked out for me right from my first year to the point we decided to stay roommates till we graduated.
maya on the other hand had always been my best friend right from middle school although she attended a different college we still kept in touch,but i always noticed she had this jealous side for me since our senior year in high school,acted like i didn't deserve anything good in life but i always brushed it off cause we were best friends and friends fight some times,but oh well this is the last time i would forgive her for one of her silly games she would usually play on me.
I was called out my thoughts when i heard someone coming down the stairs , it was caleb , great just what i needed.
me and my brother lock eyes and he stares at me with disgusted face.
"what are you lo--"
"you look disgustingly horrible" he cuts my sentence short.
"shut up , and aren't you supposed to be in school by now considering it's a monday". i reply him while i cross my arms to remind him who is older.
"first of all i can go to school any time i want since I'm in senior year, secondly brush your teeth it smells like something died in here" he says as her covers his nose.
"maybe we can do this another time I'm really not in the mood to play or argue with you"i say as i carry my coffee to head upstairs.
"wait i'm sorry okay, but seriously are you okay" he says as he stops me from passing.
"it's nothing caleb i just slept really late last night,can you move now?"
"you expect me to believe that really?" he says in disbelief.
This kid really thinks he can lecture me just cause he feels like he grew taller.
"i told you it's nothing ughh, start going to school before i tell dad".
"but i heard you crying last night".
"oh so now you're eavesdropping on me?".
"no one is eavesdropping on you clara , did you forget you an ugly crier , even if i was miles away i would still hear you wailing like a cow"
"you do realise time is going right, you might get in trouble if you don't start going" i try to change the topic.
"wait....did something happen between you and raph"
"what are you talking about you know what i don't have time for this" i say even when caleb is ignoring my rant.
"did he cheat on you?" he says.
"can you stop assuming things and get to school".
"oh so he did cheat on you wow that two faced jerk".
"caleb nothing happened okay".
Caleb stares at me with a face signaling he isn't believing a word i say.
"fine,he cheated on me i caught him yesterday , please don't tell anyone".
"i knew it , wait till china hears about this". he says as he starts to bring out his phone.
"no stop don't tell her i f she finds out ,she is obviously arriving at his house to beat him up with crowbar".
"but she is our elder sister clara she has to know, don't you want her looking out for you?".
"no we shouldn't you know she is she is too extreme"i say.
"fine , but who did he cheat with".
"it was maya".
*he gasps*.
"that snake, wow that's a turn of events, at least those toxic hoes got each other".
"yeah what ever now get to school, before i am asked to cover up for you".
"okay fine". he says as he heads out the front door.
I was finally alone at home again.
