(KRYSTAL'S POV)
I grab the sheets and yank them up to my chest, scrambling backward like that'll somehow undo what he's seeing. Like putting space between me and Raffaele changes the fact that we got caught naked in bed.
My heart keeps beating so hard that it hurts.
This isn't happening.
This can't be happening!
Raffaele lifts his hands slowly, palm open, like he can calm this with one sentence.
"Angelo," he says with a slight tremor in his voice. "I promise this isn't what it looks like."
Angelo doesn't move.
He just stands there in the doorway, stunned, his eyes flicking between me and Raffaele.
"So let me get this straight," he says slowly. "I walk in on my older brother and our younger brother's girlfriend naked in bed at six in the fucking morning… and it's not what it looks like?"
