Furthermore, the power of the Quincy who were defeated by the Shinigami was being reclaimed by Yhwach.
As the Quincy elites died, Yhwach's power was rapidly recovering.
"Your Majesty, the Schutzstaffel has led the other Sternritter knights to the Sun Gate to wipe out the Shinigami invading the Wandenreich."
"We should be able to retake the Sun Gate soon."
Haschwalth said, kneeling on one knee before the throne.
"The situation is not that good. The Shinigami came prepared this time. The Schutzstaffel has already been defeated."
Yhwach said lightly.
He had not opened his all-seeing eyes, so he could not see the future.
But the power of the Quincy returning to him allowed him to know the status of the battle at the Sun Gate.
The Shinigami invading the Wandenreich knew the Sternritter's abilities very well, leading to a one-sided situation.
Even though Gremmy destroyed the Sun Gate and cut off the Shinigami reinforcements, they still couldn't stop the Shinigami's attack.
"So quickly..."
"Your Majesty, I will clear the obstacles for you myself."
Haschwalth's expression darkened. He planned to act personally.
"No need to hurry. Let's first greet our uninvited guest."
Yhwach's cold eyes turned to an empty spot behind Haschwalth.
"Who's there!"
Haschwalth quickly stood up, blocking Yhwach.
"I was discovered? As expected of the King of the Quincy!"
Black droplets appeared in the air, gathering into a man with a giant bone ring on his back and chain-like tattoos covering his body.
It was Miyamoto Tetsuya, reborn in Hell!
"I am Miyamoto Tetsuya, an envoy from Hell."
Miyamoto Tetsuya introduced himself with a smile.
"A person from Hell. Why are you here?"
Yhwach recognized the black droplets as Hell's atmosphere.
"Of course..." Miyamoto Tetsuya paused, revealing a wicked smile. "I am here to help the King of the Quincy solve his current problem!"
"A mere nobody dares to speak so wildly in front of His Majesty!"
Haschwalth drew the longsword at his waist.
"Don't get excited. You can't kill a person from Hell."
Miyamoto Tetsuya didn't care about Haschwalth's sword. A soul branded by Hell will only return to Hell to be reborn if they die in the three worlds. They don't truly die.
"Besides, this body isn't my real one."
"It's a Reigai controlled by my consciousness."
As an expert in the Reigai field, he didn't stop his research even after going to Hell.
And, with the Hueco Mundo scientist Szayelaporro Granz joining him, his research progressed by leaps and bounds.
He had now developed a Reigai that could be controlled by consciousness.
They could use these Reigai to bypass Hell's restrictions and walk the three worlds.
"And... I come with a sincere gift~"
A black-red orb appeared in Miyamoto Tetsuya's hand.
"That is..."
Yhwach's eyes narrowed.
"This is a crystal formed from the fusion of the Soul King's power and Hell's power!"
"It is the supreme object—the Heart of Hell!"
Miyamoto Tetsuya's expression was both twisted and devout.
After entering Hell, he was guided by the will of Hell's Master. He collected the Master's residual power, which solidified into this black-red orb.
If Sora, Sōsuke Aizen, or Kisuke Urahara got this 'Heart of Hell', they would definitely discover something.
This black-red orb, the 'Heart of Hell', was somewhat similar in nature to the Hōgyoku.
But the Hell energy it gave off was completely different from the Hōgyoku.
You could say it was a Hōgyoku fused with the power of Hell!
"The Soul King's Hell counterpart..."
Yhwach clearly knew something about Hell.
The original world, before the three worlds, was made of Chaos and Hell.
Before the Soul King created the three worlds, he had considered Hell.
But the Soul King seemed to change his mind, discarding the part fused with Hell's power.
That discarded part fell into Hell and became the Master of Hell.
Yhwach reached out, and the 'Heart of Hell' was pulled from Miyamoto Tetsuya's hand by an unseen force.
"So this is what He discarded..." Yhwach sensed the 'Heart of Hell' in his hand and muttered. "The Quincy's situation is the same. We were all discarded."
Three members of the Schutzstaffel were related to the Soul King. In essence, they were all Quincy power that had been separated from him.
Without the Soul King's own will, the Shinigami could not have separated his power.
Yhwach felt that the part of the Soul King's power representing the Quincy had been almost completely stripped away.
So, in his view, the Soul King had never valued the Quincy.
Even in the three worlds the Soul King created, there was no place for the Quincy.
The Shinigami's power was part of the cycle of souls in the three worlds. But the Quincy's power would only bring destruction.
The Soul King was biased!
He favored the Shinigami and rejected the Quincy!
"Oh~ Great King of the Quincy, are you accepting the good will of the Master of Hell?"
Miyamoto Tetsuya cackled when he saw Yhwach take the 'Heart of Hell'.
"I'm afraid your master isn't so kind!" Haschwalth turned to Yhwach and advised.
"Your Majesty, this is a trick from Hell. Hell and the Quincy have never been allies. Why would they help us now!"
Yhwach did not respond. His pupils trembled and suddenly split into two.
The Almighty!
As the Sternritter members continued to die, he had recovered enough power to force his eyes open!
He needed to see his future, so he forced open The Almighty.
But forcing it open would also cause his 'soul-reclaiming' ability, Auswählen, to go out of control.
This was why, in the original timeline, Yhwach kept his eyes closed during the '9 years of recovering power'.
Once Auswählen went out of control, it would be used on all Quincy without distinction.
But to see his future, he had no other choice.
The Shinigami army was at the Sun Gate, not far away. Soon, they would enter this throne room.
The Shinigami's performance made him less than certain he could defeat them.
The Sternritters' abilities had all been leaked and were being countered perfectly by the Shinigami.
It was possible the Shinigami had found a way to counter his 'Almighty' as well.
Besides, with his current level of recovered power, there was only so much 'The Almighty' could do.
Therefore, even if it meant sacrificing all the Quincy, he had to see his future.
"Your Majesty!!!"
Haschwalth was terrified when he saw Yhwach open his eyes.
The next moment, a ring of Reishi light burst from Yhwach, spreading outward.
A holy, clear bell toll echoed through the throne room.
