As David stepped out, he found Erik leaning against the corridor wall, holding a cup of coffee.
"Well, look who it is, our Doctor David. Just got in, and already kicked out by his own patient," Erik teased, sipping his coffee, his smile annoying.
David grumbled in annoyance. "Shut up, Rik. I was just respecting my patient's privacy."
"Or were you kicked out because she didn't want her stomach touched by the man who just had a jealous fit?" Erik countered, chuckling.
David didn't have time to answer, because shortly after, Doctor Shinta came out of the room holding a clipboard.
"Doctor David, Doctor Erik," Doctor Shinta greeted. "Patient Liana has been examined. Her physical results show tenderness in the epigastric area, not the lower abdomen. We also performed rapid tests."
"So? What's the diagnosis?" David asked impatiently.
