As Liana was fumbling through the wet grass, her body was already shaking from the cold, when the roar of a luxury car suddenly sounded.
Soon after, David arrived at Desy house. David quickly stepped inside. He looked into the living room area and did not find Liana, but he saw the panicked face of Desy, who had just finished a phone call, and several guests gathered looking out the window.
David looked toward the backyard. His heart felt gripped.
In the middle of the heavy rain, he saw Liana, soaked to the bone, kneeling on the grass, searching for something. And under the patio, he saw Chelsea standing casually, looking at Liana with a triumphant expression.
Seeing that sight, David instantly flew into a rage.
David didn't care about his expensive shoes or his work suit. David ran across the terrace to where Liana was.
"Liana!" David shouted.
Chelsea was startled, turning around to see David running through the rain.
