In the midst of the dark hallway walked a hooded figure, the woman who's face was hiddened from prying eyes, kept from being exposed to any that passed by her.
As dark as the halls seems to be, not because of its dark painted walls, not because of the darkness of void of space, for the lanterns and lamps hung in the hallways of the ship. She could thank the workers and the mechanicums.
Just few feet away from her path was two of the emporors very own guards, custodes, golden boys as she would like to call it here and there. But seeing that this wasn't the time for humor, erda pushed the thought away as she evantually then ceased in her steps. The custodes stood guard on the front of the emperor's chambers already aware of who erda is, then when she closed in with three more steps, the two of them crossed their spears in an axe formation.
"Halt!" One of the two custodes Guard said keeping their eyes set on the hooded figure.
Erda reached up with one arm and pulled her hood back at just enough of a sight of her face to be seen by the guards.

__________
The Two custodes seeing the face of the woman gradually ceased in their act. The one that signal for her to halt, took six stride back in formation with the other custode. Afterwards the duo then made three steps backwards while both held the door opened for the visitor.
"Apologies ma'am. Please enter, the emporor is awaiting your presence."
Smiling as she pulled her hood all the way back on, erda entered the room with guards, you are just doing your job."
When she made the final step inside the room, the first person to have welcomed her was an old looking man, beared in a rather oversize brown robe that somehow fitted him. His nose and mouth, being the only thing erda could see spoke.
"About time you've arrived erda." A ragged old yet firm voice spoke up.
Erda, already aware of whose voice it was, chose to ignore the old man, her expression revealing little emotion as she walked past him. "To what reason have you called me here for emporor?"
The old man beside erda promptly made his way forth walking next to the woman. "His thinking, I'd suggest we wait until his majesty is done."
Erda stared at the old man, questioning the reason behind his suggestion. "And why's that malcador?"
"It is not of any importance erda. I Am only thinking." The emperor stated, unclasping his hands, as he turned around to face his two closest friends.

__________
"Thinking, to what importance of thinking were you having emporor?" Inquired erda, almost making a mistake in calling him by a certain surname.
"It's about one of our son's." The emporor told her where's he brought one arm up, with an emblem in the palm of his hands.
When erda saw the emblem on the emporors hands, something hidden, something that she thought was long gone from her many memories.
"That's the seconds emblem." stated erda, mind mending as she questioned the emporor.
"It is." The emporor answered rubbing the metal edges of the object. "I've felt it, I've felt the light from within."
Erda looked to malcador then set her gaze on the golden armored man. "What do you mean, please, eloborate?"
Setting the emblem on the desk infront of him. The emporor then took a glance out the window, sight set on the battered image of Terra herself.
His mind went back to the last time he held each of his primarchs. "When I was in my chambers, i was making sure to check on the reports sent by the primarchs. It was roughly around a couple hours I was busying myself in that time, until that emblem, hanging on my wall, started glowing."
"It nearly caused me to fall on my rear end after it blinded me as well." Malcador added in, rubbing the side of his right mouth cheek.
"That's impossible!" muttered erda as she contemplated the news on her mind pondering on the matter at hand. "What else have you've found emporor?"
The emporor before he uttered another word, reached down into a hiddened pocket and brought another emblem, yet this one was far different then the other.
Instead of the first emblem being a shield and claw marks over it, these second emblem had a picture of a phoenix wrapping itself around a globe, a globe that depicts an image of each and every countries of ancient Terra, or as the emporor once called it, earth.
"These emblem hadn't had anything happened yet. However, after the first emblem had nearly blinded both me and malcador completely, the second emblem proceeded to follow along... Take a look erda." The emporor told the woman as he showed her of what happened to the palm of his hand.
Erda's eyes widened slightly as she observed something that seemed quite impossible. She is aware of the powers of the golden man. Any wounds or injuries he sustains would eventually heal over time, as his healing factor should have already addressed this wound.
She once witnessed one of her son's dueling it out with their father, of course the emporor was only holding back against Russ, but what made it even more interesting was the one and only blow the primarch manages to land on the emporor. That blow was a fourteen inch originated from his sword, the injury, as fatal as it could've been, it eventually healed within a matter of seconds.
"How long was this when it happened?" Questioned erda as she reached down and grabbed his hand and turned it up and down, examining it. As after that, she then grabbed the two emblem.
"This only happened about two hours ago. Malcador should've been able to find a way to heal this with his great knowledge. Yet it did no good, we only had one person in mind that could have fixed this issue." The emporor says checking his hand over for watching as the wound he received from the second emblem began healing once again, pleased to see that Erda's healing ability had worked on him.
While the emperor was speaking, Erda held in her hands the two emblems that belonged to the two presumed deceased primarchs. "With the recent actions of these two symbols of our children occurring unexpectedly, then you know what it means, emporor."
Lowering his arm, the emporor gazed down at the two object in Erda's hands, wondering why the same thing that happened to him hadn't occur on her.
"It means that they are alive." The emporor says somehow feeling a sense of pride.
"It's my fault that they were all sent out there. When I wholeheartedly betra-
Just before erda could've finished her sentence, a sudden glow of a white light transpired. Everything around the emporors chamber were filled with the color of it. Both erda and malcador couldn't opened their eyes all the way and so we're forced to cover it. Even the emporor was of no exception from the same occurrence. As great and powerful he was, he could not comprehend the might that these light had hit him with.
"By what sorcerery is this!" Malcador complained having to use both arms to shield his face from the overwhelming power of this light.
"What is going on!?" Shouted erda having to do the same thing as malcador.
Meanwhile, the emporor was enforcing his own will on the power that was the white light, but no matter what he does, it didn't budge. Seeing no effort in this, the emporor one hand began glowing in a gold light and was about to push his way back against the light.
But the just as he was about to do so. The emporor and that of his two companions were suddenly spared from the continuous power of the white light.
Suddenly, the blinding white light gradually transformed into a soft white glow, revealing something unexpected.
The first individual to notice it was Erda, who, due to her healing abilities, was able to restore her sight. As she surveyed the room, her gaze fell upon a mirror resembling a portal, which revealed an image of two individuals.
As she blinked a couple time, she saw that it was not some hallucination. Captivated by the scene before her, she approached the mirror-like portrait, illuminated by the same white light that defined its edges.
Behind her was the emporor and malcador, both of who were slowly being spared from the effect that the light had set upon them earlier. After the duo had regained their sights, they looked to where erda was heading for. The emperor, upon observing the situation, was fully aware of what the perpetual woman was perceiving.
With slight haste in his steps, the emporor made his way behind erda while malcador, the sigillite followed beside him.
"Is this what I think it is?" The emperor spoke, his gaze fixed on the two figures reflected in the mirror-like portal before him.
"Yes, yes it is." Erda said answering him, as she knew without a doubt that the two people being showed to the three of them were exactly who they think it was.
"The second and eleventh." Malcador said expressimg his disbelief while also seeing some differences between the two.
The emblems held by Erda intermittently started to glow, as if attempting to convey a message to her. Not wanting to ignore anything about it, for she understood the importance of what this could mean for her, and mostly to that of the emporor himself.
"We'll, I'll be damn. To think that this could be possible, but to see it, it's something I've never imagined would happened. A daughter of the emporor himself." Malcador commented whereas he set his sight on the young man next to the small woman.
"We shall begin our search right away."
"Emporor."
Hearing who it was, the emporor heard the door being opened, then a custodian, clad in a different set of golden armor stepped into the chamber and bowed his head. "Forgive my intrusion my emporor. But I have grave news, news that I know you'll want to hear."
"Speak," The emporor told him already having an idea of where this news that Constantine was referring to.
"A peculiar phenomenon has been observed at the far reaches of our solar system. One of our flagship vessels, which was on guard duty, has vanished. We attempted to reach out to them, but we have not received any response. What instructions would you like us to follow?"
"Emporor. Perhaps the disappearance had something to do with the two primarchs." Said malcador who hasn't gotten a look of response from his friend but evantually received words from him.
The Emperor directed his attention towards Captain General Constantine Valdor. His gaze, which once radiated an immense golden glow, had now diminished to mere pupils. "Prepare a small fleet, I'll be heading to the bucephelus for departure as soon as I get there."
"Is a fleet truly necessary for this emporor?" Questioned erda.
"It is. Besides, we do not know of what'll happen. For it is better for us to be ready when necessary." The emporor replied nonchalantly back at erda, as he ceased in his steps and without looking at her, he spoke. "Are you coming or not erda?"
The perpetual woman hadn't need any response to be said to the emporor and only nodded her head and joined him along for the walk.
"Malcador, you'll be staying here. Your going to have to be the one in charge of the imperium, on my absent... I won't be gone for long."
The sigilite bowed his head with his one hand grasping his staff. "As you command emporor."
Deep down, the sigillite knew that the emporor would've definitely be staying longer then he said. For he know that with the sudden display of event that had just transpired, that somehow, the two primarchs would be quite the trouble, or nuisance to the two, especially for his old friend.
___
After the emperor and Erda departed from one of his own ships, they hurriedly made their way to the Bucephalus. A Ship that he consistently utilized for extended journeys, whether for travel to another solar system, world, or for negotiations.
Though he'd always use the other space ships cathedral in the continuation search for his other son's, these one particular ship, or rather the bucephelus was the exception. And since the appearance of the two primarchs he, erda and malcador saw, he chosen to use the bucephelus, seeing that the old girl is still up for travel.
It hadn't taken them a long while to reach the front entrance of the bucephelus. Both of the emporor and erda waited for the four men squad of custodes to part ways whereas the two eventually strode forth.
Before passing through the doorway, the emperor spoke to the captain of the custodes in an inquiry. "Constantine, has there been any strange things happening since the sudden dissappearance of the ship that you mentioned of?"
"Yes emporor." Constantine Valdor responded in a nonchalant manner, his voice devoid of any significant earnestness. "Outside the edge of terra's sol system is a wall of some kind, one that somehow pushes out any essence of a phsykers power."
"Is that so." Added in erda, interested by the news.
"I Know so, because one of the new phsykers amongst the ship i was on, that ship, was near the invisible wall, it weakened him at a slower rate, but yet."
"Yet what?" The emporor butted in, wanting to know about these issue.
"That I believe it's an unknown force that prohibits any and all signs of the warp."
The emporor when hearing that was now intrigued by the matter. From a distance, as he and Erda traversed the corridors of the Bucephelus, they looked out at the location where Constantine mentioned the ship had vanished.
"What is that!?" Uttered erda shocked by the sight. "That was not there before"
"I'm assuming that's where the ship had dissappeared?" The emporor who's eyes remained on the white energy field that when seeing it, he couldn't help but felt drawn to it.
"Yes emporor." Constantine valdor answered.
"Emporor." Erda whispered cutting valdor off.
"What?" The emporor asked voice low and calm so as to not sound in contempt of rudeness.
"The emblems. They're growing stronger. And I think I know the reasons why."
The emporor glanced down at the emblems on erda's palm. It was true of what she said, after all, ever since they neared the bucephelus, which was currently on its course towards the anomaly of the white and unknown force of space, the two emblems were gradually growing in a mere sense of ascendancy, as if the closer they were approaching the anomaly the more the two emblems started to irregularly pour out an immense powerful force that only the emporor and erda could feel.
"It's acting alot more strangely then it does before?" Stated erda feeling the energy from the phoenix emblem beginning to wrap its wings around the globe.
"The other one, it has stayed the same." Uttered the emporor pointing out the difference between the two emblems.
"I Can see that." Erda replied eyeing the shield and claw emblem.
"I Have a feeling that one will be quite difficult then the other." The emporor said to erda getting her to look at him in question.
"Whatever do you mean by that emporor?"
"We shall find out ourselves when we get there."
__________
For the past hour, the Bucephalus, the emperor's ship, has been positioned just outside the anomaly force. Upon their arrival at the designated location, both the emperor and Erda sensed an unusually magnificent force that was familiar to them, the two essence, belonging to the once missing primarchs.
Remarkably, the emperor sensed that his psychic abilities were somehow diminishing. It was neither compromised nor affected by anything; it was simply a matter of being compelled to conform to these unknown forces rule. However, this did not imply that he was ready to surrender easily.
"Are you alright?" Erda says staring up at the fourteen foot tall man.
"Do not worry." The emporor responded who's voice betrayed him when erda caught the slightest false in his words. "I'm fine, it's just that I can't help but feel something awfully conversant with the sudden situation ahead of us."
"Then I suggest that you stilled yourself emporor. We would not want you to falter any further then we have now."
True to herself, erda had only say that for she too was accustomed to the statement spoken by the emporor. As within her hands, she could feel the unfluctuating energy enveloping both her and the emporor once the entirely of the bucephelus enters the natural force they were putting themselves into.
Despite their immense power, the two remained somewhat steadfast regarding the journey they and the crew experienced after passing through the final flashes. But still they remained ready, ready for what's to come.

Earth
JULY 4th, 2025
It is nearly the time of day when individuals across the United States commemorate their nation's independence, which was declared on the fourth day of july in the year 1776.
Kent, a small city in King County. It's resident filled with all kinds of emotions when it comes to this type of day. It's mixed of diversity, family friendly suburban areas around every corner of the town, to at least a few people that is. Yet that doesn't mean the people themselves were entirely crabby, crumpy kinds that preferred to stay in a state of irritable mood all day and time.
At seven fifteen in the morning, the residents of the small city of Kent were just beginning to awaken to the gentle light of the since early rising sun. Many individuals have already left their homes to jog and train, striving to uphold their healthy lifestyle, especially since it is a wonderful day for such activities.
While it was a positive experience for many, it does not imply that everyone was pleased to be present at all. Among those mentioned individuals was Kodoan, a young man of respectable stature and build. He was neither big or tall, but yet, he was considered average by many. To Kodoan, the opinions and words of the people in Kent were of no concern, as he held a disdain for the place—not due to its infamous reputation, but because of the residents themselves. Though, he'd exclude some people from the many things he dislikes about his old city.
From the rearview mirror of his truck, Ko observed to ensure there were no vehicles behind him, Noticing that there was nothing in his line of sight, he looked ahead once more to see that the traffic light had changed from red to green.
He gradually applied pressure to the gas pedal with his right foot, driving past the T-section. Lifting his right arm up and keeping a firm grip on the steering wheel while driving, ko rolled the sleeve of his shirt up so as to check the time om his wrist watch.
He was currently on his way to the grocery store to run some errands for his grandmother Tia, and of course, his twin sister, Lua... Just then, ko caught sight of something from the corner of his eye. He wanted to slow down, but had to continue driving since he was on the freeway.
"Damn!" Was all ko had running through his mind.
Fortunately, he was provided an opportunity to change lanes, which he accepted, turning left towards Fred Meyer. And as he entered the driveway, ko scoured the closest parking spot near the front entrance of the store. Once he focused on a particular target, he gradually moved forward; unfortunately, this target was the farthest from the entrance, despite being only in the fifth lane.
Not one to be complaining, for he prefers to get it done with already. Ko made his way to the spot, and after pulling into the parking spot he pull the lever down to reverse so as to align the truck altogether within a straight line. Then afterwards he parked it, got out of the vehicle with his key in hand.
Before he left for the store, he glanced to his side where he saw rows of shopping carts, as he approached, he grasped one by the handle, pulled it out, and then made his way to the entrance.
However, as he does, ko notice that from the corner of his eyes, a stranger was watching him from afar. From the looks of it, it was a small figure of a woman, about five foot eleven. Though he couldn't tell how she looks from underneath all that dandy brown robe over her body, as all he can see was the strange woman's eyes.
Seeing that he was standing still in the middle of the parking lot, ko immediately strolled off, quite embarrassed of himself.
"I gotta stop staring." Was all ko said thinking to himself.
Once he entered the store, he searched for the aisle that contained exactly what he needed: the medical section. Upon spotting it, he turned left and proceeded towards it.
"I Have to get that bandages." Koa said muttering to himself.
As he saunteres forth, ko saw the eye drop and and picked it out of the many roles of the different types of eye drops.
Most of them were around fourteen to at least five dollars a pack. One was cheap, and no, understanding the expansive prices of stuff nowadays took the cheapest one.
When he made out of the medical isle, ko turned left after he came out of the isle. Right there and then was a familiar face. These one wasn't the same stranger from before, no, it was a face he wished he hadn't seen this earlier.
As the woman placed her card into her wallet, she tilted her head upward, sensing something unusual in the atmosphere. She looked on and her eyes widened slightly.
In her mind, she could only think of one person always wore a button up sweater and wears a Grey beanie.
"Ko!" The woman called out only to be ignored when the man strolled off the opposite way from where she is.
She wanted to call out to him, but was however left behind a group of people that had just entered.
"Excuse me ma'am." A Stranger with a firmly yet pursuing voice. "Can I ask you a question, if you don't mind."
Kendra who was surprised by the outfit that the stranger wore was a bit put off by her appearance. As all that the person wore was a sandy brown robe concealing her entire figure, all except her golden brown eyes.

__________
But when the stranger pulled out a piece of parchment, she saw that a picture of a familiar person was on it.
"Umm, sure, how can I be of help Ms?" Kendra replies in an inquire eyes still set on the retreating figure of ko.
"Have you seen these person?" The oddly eccentric woman spoke in an inquiry while holding a picture of ko.
"If I have, what is it that you want with him?" Kendra says asking eyes squinted wondering on the intention behind the stranger's question.
"I am simply in search of him for an important matter." The woman speaks in an effort to soothe Kendra and prevent discouragement.
"I Did, I saw him earlier. But I believe you are already too late."
"Whatever do you mean?" The woman who was none other then erda asked, her facial expression depicting that of someone confounded by a questionable response from the woman.
"What I mean is that he's already checked out of the store." Kendra told the woman, looking at the back of ko who was wheeling out the shopping cart.
"That must be him Ms. Erda." Another person says speaking.
Upon seeing that individual, Kendra observed that approximately seven other people were now positioned behind the erda.
"I See." Erda says whereas she turned and bowed her head in thanks to Kendra and trailed after ko.
Before Erda and her group departed, Kendra unexpectedly interjected, prompting everyone to stop.
"Hold up, what is it you people want with kodoan!?" Kendra uttered uncertainty in her voice, unsure of what these women and her friends would want from someone like ko.
"I Am afraid that is none of your concerns madam. For what business i have between me and kodoan is none of your concerns. I Truly mean that with my upmost respect... Have a good day."
After erda had made her statement to Kendra, she simply thanked her one more time and strolled off. Nonetheless, Kendra, uncertain about the woman's intentions, tried once again to intervene with Erda. Unfortunately for her, one of Erda's followers glared at her, as if imploring her to act recklessly.
"I Have to call them!" Kendra says worriedly, as she scoured her purse in search of her phone.
After what felt like an hour of rummaging through her purse, Kendra finally found it. Picking the phone out, she in a quick act pressed the pin numbers and speed her way to the contact numbers, while cursing at herself due to the crazy amount of people's contact she has. Once she found the one she so desperately looked for, Kendra touched the person's name and hoped to God that the one from the other side would pick up.
"Come on, come on come on. Pick up damn it!" Uttered Kendra in a low yet firm voice.
At that moment, her mood shifted to one of relief as she heard the voice of an elderly woman responding from the other side of the phone.
"Oh hello dear Kendra, it's so good to hear your voice! What is it that I can help you with?"
"Ms. Tia. Look, there's no time to speak, someone is after kodoan. You hav-
"Hold on child. What do you mean that someone is after ko?" Ko's grandmother tia spoke sounding like that of a concerned parent.
Kendra hadn't spoke after Tia, for she was hurrying to follow after erda's and her groups trail. Though being the smarter person she is, she made sure to stay further away from the group.
"Hello, Kendra. Are you hearing me hung!"
"Wha- Yes, yes I hear you Ms. Tia." Kendra quickly answered as she ko being stopped by someone who was about his size. "Listen Ms. Tia. There is a lady, she and her friends had just come into the store not long ago, the woman from earlier had asked me about kodoan. I Don't know who these people are, but I can tell you that they don't look like your average undercover cops."
"What did the woman eyes look like?"
"Golden brown, she wore only like a sand brown hooded robe. Her face, I couldn't tell due to her head covered in almost every fabric of her robe. But her eyes... Im sorry Tia, it's just that her eyes are just about the same Ole amber brown, like that of Lua and kodoan."
Upon hearing what Kendra had said, Tia suddenly felt a sense of urgency, as if alert warnings had been triggered within her. Brown amber eyes, the same as that of Lua and kodoan.
Tia's heart beat in a slight haste, for she was uncertain on whether she should believe what Kendra informed her of or just outright push aside the meaningful news she received... However, she soon spoke out in quick response to Kendra who had called out her name three times.
"I'm sorry Kendra, I was spacing out for a moment." Tia told Kendra, whereas she then proceeded to speak in a markedly different tone. "Can you tell me exactly what the woman and her groups are doing now?"
Kendra pretended to check out the large box of fruits infront of her, while her main attention was keeping an eye on erda and her groups, all the while she was communicating with Tia in a low voice.
"Well, from where I'm standing, the strange lady is just staring at the back of kodoan's truck." Kendra said who was able to catch sight of erda's quick glance that shot directly at her way.
"Oh dear... Kendra, are you by any chance close to the performance theater?"
"It would take me probably five minutes to reach there by car. Can I ask about the reason for your question??" Inquired Kendra, her mind obscure by that question.
"That's where Lua is. I Tried to call her phone, but she isn't picking up. Please, If you could kindly check on her, I would appreciate it. I am currently leaving my garden and will meet you and Lua at the theater."
"Wait. What of ko, shouldn't we tell him that there's someone after him!?" An urgent Kendra said expressing her concern for kodoan.
"Ko, he will be fine. I Can assure you that, but Lua on the other hand is the one you should get to now. Please hurry and warn her."
"Alright I'll get to it."
"Thank you sweetheart."
After Tia had hung up on the phone, Kendra hastily checked out the small amounts of groceries she picked and quickly strolled out of the store and towards her car. Though, however, while she was in a hurry, she couldn't help but notices erda and her group watching her as she speed walk her way towards her car.
"Weird ass people!?" Kendra quietly muttered to herself as she shifted the car into reverse and exited the parking lot.
__________
Erda's P.O.V.
Standing in the middle of the parking lot, erda and her group stood as they all watched the same woman from before hurrying off in a such a rush.
"Ma'am. That woman, she seems to know something we don't."
"That is true... She had acted oddly strange when I showed her a picture of the second." Responded erda nonchalantly while she turned to face the direction kodoan left.
"Should we give haste for the second primarch ma'am?" Another one of the followers inquired.
"No need to, I'll be joining you in search for the second."
"As you wish ma'am. But what of the eleventh primarch, who'll go for her?"
"You needn't worry for that child, the emporor himself has decided to take that task upon himself... Meanwhile, ours will be to find the second primarch." Erda stated, who felt like she experienced a sudden shift in the atmosphere, a sensation that was both familiar and unusual.
"Hey! Get off the way got damn it! Your blocking the driveway, unless yall wanna get run over!"
A Follower pulled out his blade and was about to prepare his way onward to take the random civilian that spoke out for his impudence. Unfortunately for him, erda brought an arm up, signaling for him to stop.
"No, we will not be doing that. Let us leave for our task ahead."
Once she made sure everything was assured, erda evantually left with her followers as they entered their vehicles. Unlike the usual big and robust imperial vehicles, that others back in their reality rides, erda had made sure that when once she and the others arrived here on what is supposedly ancient terra, that they would need a better disguise.
And so, being a perpetual she is from the ancient times of her old earth, erda had chosen to pick a ride that would benefit in their task. A Jeep, with a seven passenger seat. With this, it'd gave them enough space to fit in.
"I Haven't driven one of this girls in while." Erda said speaking to herself in mere admiration.
"I'd had thought you'd be unfamiliar with this kinds of tech my lady?" A Bemused Follower told her.
"I Am far older then you think child. I've not forgotten my time I had spent on ancient terra, where it was once in its most beautiful state... Now let us linger any longer." Uttered erda in reply to her followers statement.
"Apologies for my words then madam. I've forgotten that you are as old as the emporor himself."
"None taken." Said erda as she took a left
after the light had turned green.
__________
For a short period of time, Erda drove the jeep with both hands on the steering wheel, while focusing on the emblem that appeared to glow intermittently, as if its brightness increased the closer it was to the second primarch.
As she continued to operate the vehicle, erda soon cursed at herself internally, as infront of her, just three vehicles were pulled into a stop.
At times, this aspect was something she greatly disliked about her experiences in the twenty-first century. Despite the traffic, she had to acknowledge that it was not as congested as the hive cities back on Terra. The number of imperial vehicles that appears to occupy the entire road in every direction she looks is quite significant, at least at times.
Albeit, erda was glad that the cars infront had finally chosen to move once the light turned green. Once her it was her turn, erda went left taking an exit from the crowded freeway. With her enhance sight, she saw that ko's vehicle wasn't very far from where she is, as his truck was parked infront of a school.
Certain that she'll get there in time, erda gradually pressed her right foot down on the gas forcing herself to go passed fifteen miles per hour.
It Didn't take her to reach the front entrance of the school, where the cars and school buses enter one after another.
And though the lines took a bit, erda wasn't one to complain, as she was quite enthusiastic about old Earth's surroundings. All around, everywhere she looks, people were either waiting for the metro busses, Uber or taxi for a pick up. Deep within, erda felt something inside her pouring out, like the sense of longing for a time like this. For back in the current state of old Terra, barely any signs like this can be found. Hell, even cats and dogs, as well as that of birds of all kinds was such a rare sight to behold.
The sun shone down on the busy town of king count Kent. "No matter how far it was from earth, it for sure gave these place a beautiful view."
"Whatever do you mean by that my lady?" A Follower asked confusion shown upon her face.
Erda gave a simple gesture up at the sky, at the bright light. "I mean the view; can you not tell the difference, child? This is what ancient Terra, or rather, what Earth once looked like."
One of the followers took upon herself to speak in a tone, one filled with admiration. "I Too must agree my lady. I've studied the history of ancient Terra in your own personal library. To be here, to lay eyes on what is known to you and the emporor as earth, it is a breathtaking experience for me to witness."
"I Too must admit, my lady, that witnessing the birthplace of humanity is an incredibly beautiful experience for me." Spoke another follower.
"I Am pleased to see that you've all took great interest in your study of ancient Terra... But, since we are already here, when I park the car, yall are free to explore the markets. Go and indulge yourselves in the street food vendors, buy yourself some old earth items. But, I'll need two of you with me."
"Thank you my lady... However, to whom might be the two that you'll pick to follow you?"
"Xanfer and leetu. You both will stick with me." Ordered erda as she gradually passes by two other cars from her right.
Once she found herself a parking spot, erda quickly slid into one she picked. After she brought the jeep to a halt, she reaches for the keys, turned it back till she heard the engine become completely off.
"Alright, you all remember the same Ole rule. Do not wonder off too far from one another, keep your guards up at all times and be ready. Unless you are attacked."
Leetu, who was the largest out of everyone in the group, standing at a height of seven foot five.
Around erda and her followers, were civilians who eyed them all in both questions and puzzled looks of bewilderment. One individual who stood out was undoubtedly Leetu. That Even without his armor, he still loomed over everyone in the vicinity.
"Come on you two." Ushered erda, ordering the unarmored space marine, leetu and xanfer to follow along.
"As you wish madam." Answered leetu who ceased in his steps to allow xanfer to walk by.
"Madam. With this many people. How will we ever find the second primarch?"
"It's quite simple." Erda replied showing xanfer the emblem. "At any rate, it'd take us a while to find one person in the hive cities of Terra, maybe hours upon hours. But here, it'll only take us approximately less then twenty, minutes to search for the second."
"On that I agree." The tedious leetu added in a monotone tone. "This would be a simple task for you lady erda."
"Thank you... I
"Kodoan!"
When the trio overheard that name, they promptly sauntered forth to where the voice came from.
As they closed in, they noticed that the second primarch, who standing across from a table. Erda's eyes catches sight of the person opposite from ko's front. The woman, was neatly dressed in an outfit befitting that of a young person in her mid twenties.
Though, erda could tell that the lady was slightly older then ko. But from the way she stared at the second primarch, erda couldn't help but feel some sense of paternalism for him, like a mother akin to that of her son.
Just from that mere thought, erda decided to make her way towards the duo. Unaware of the fact that the primarch has been trying to avoid them.
__________
Kodoan's P.O.V.
Two minutes after entering the parking lot, ko had been taking a look at the rear view mirrors. The sole reason was to see what, who and why that strange woman from before has been following him.
"What is it that these lady want from me?" Uttered ko in slight annoyance.
Veering his head left, ko noticed an empty spot. It didn't matter whether it was far from the main place, for all that he cares about was to get to a certain person.
Earlier before he reached the town, he had received a call from an old church pal that said he needed him to buy a box of fireworks for him and his kids. And so being the generous person he is, ko chose to do it out of care. After all, he knew the kids since he met them after the man's wife gave birth to the triplets.
Yet, be that as it may, ko's issue was that the lady trailed after him from afar. He didn't know why, but wondered how she found him.
After he got out of the truck, ko quickly made his way towards the exact location where his old church classmate and his family was waiting for him.
Along his way, ko made sure to take a look right, where he saw the jeep that had followed his tracks all the way to the high school.
"Kodoan, man it's been a long time. How's it been man!"
"Devin, it's good to see you too as well man."
Koa walked forth with a smile across his face, within his old church pal, he hugged the man and afterwards would smack both of each other's hands together, pulled one another inwards and hugged once more.
"Daddy. Who's this old man?" One of devins kids said in question as to who ko was.
"Kylie, this here is an old friend of mine, Kodoan. Ko, here is Kylie... You'll have to forgive her, she hasn't known you except the time you held her as a infant baby."
He noticed the little girl gazing up at him, and that from a brief glance, he could tell that she was less then ten years old.
"Nice to meet you Kylie. I'd assume your father hasn't been to strict with you yet." Joked ko in a straightforward manner as he noticed Devin and his wife laughing at his comment.
"No, but my dad sometimes always spoils me. Mom on the other hand is more of the serious one in the group." Kylie said nonchalantly.
The woman, or rather Rebecca thawn, wife to Devin and a mother to Kylie stepped forth and picked Kylie's small form up.
"And that is what a mother is supposed to do kiddo." Rebecca says pinching her daughter's nose softly, whereas she then turned her forward and greeted ko. "Heya kodoan, it's so good to see you again. Tell me, how's it been with your trip away?"
"Its been well. Though, as fun as it was, I'm just glad that the ride was over with. You know, with how expensive things have been lately, even I wouldn't want to keep spending cash on gas every week."
"On that I totally agree with you man." Devin made a comment while carrying one of his children on his shoulders and holding the hand of another.
"Yes... Say, I got yall what you wanted." Ko told them as he held out a five foot long rectangular box packed with various amounts of fireworks.
"The firequake, man I don't what to say but thank you. I Mean that bro." Devin told him but soon stopped when Rebecca spoke.
"Say, ko, I've forgot to tell you earlier. My cousin kendra somehow knew you were coming back today, and asked me to let you know, that she wishes to speak with you."
Ko wished he hadn't heard that. He knew full well the reason behind kendra's request. "What did she say?"
"Nothing much, just that she said you should check up on your sister Lua. She also said that some people were following you."
"Shit."
Both Devin and Rebecca were confused by ko's sudden mood, but soon the two of them were given an answer when he spoke.
"Whats up man, you seem to be acting different now all of a sudden?" Asked Rebecca wanting to see what it had bothered their friend.
"You two see the lady and her friends on the my far right?" Said ko while also telling them not to make it obvious.
"Yeah, those three weirdos have been staring at us the whole team?" Devin answered seeing that erda and her group were closing in.
"Yeah, well that lady and her friends have been following me all the way from Fred Meyer." Responded ko but then sadly had to excuse himself. "Listen guys, I'm sorry, but I have to leave. Thank you for the small talk, and it was very nice to speak with you Kylie... Keep annoying your father for me."
"I Will!" Blurted out a gleeful Kylie.
"Take care man." A Slightly worried yet bothered Devin said.
Waving them goodbye, ko turned to walk away from the three strangers that were after him.
As he was walking, ko was unaware of his surroundings when he suddenly felt someone bumped into him.
Turning around to see who it was, ko saw that it was a woman, dressed in a neatly colored outfit with red t shirt, blue jeans and boots. He also noticed that the woman was clearly an undercover cop due to her badge that she had dropped from her right pocket.
"Kacey!?"
"Kodoan!" Replied the woman in a same surprising tone as she accepted a helping hand from ko. "I Thought I'd never see you again?"

__________
"And I thought you were working as a firefighter in New york?.. Or did you switch subjects?"
"No, no I have not. But I'll say, it's not the same as seeing you. What happened, Last time I see you-
"Listen, it's great a all that were seeing each other, but I need to get going befor-
"Before what?" Erda's voiced taking four steps forth and stopped between ko and Kacey.
"Apologies, excuse me for my interruption. I Am erda evermore." The perpetual spoke introducing herself with first speaking her name and then tilted her head upward at the six foot two primarch. "And you must be Kodoan, am I correct?"
"Yes. And to what reason is it you have been following me for?"
The giant of a man standing behind the two woman spoke in response to ko's inquiry. "You are the second primarch, the son of the emporor and that of lady erda. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that one of our lord's creation is these small."
Ko seeing this man up close was slightly bothered by his height, especially his stature. The man had a physique reminiscent of heavyweight lifters, often referred to as strongmen. However, what rendered him more intimidating to those nearby were his scars.
"The what now?" Questioned ko, confused by the word primarch and emporor.
"You are too follow us. Please, you'd be wise to heed my request very carefully... Besides, you'd much prefer my presence other then the emporor himself." An asserted erda told him straight forwardly.
Yet, Despite Erda's requests, Ko ensured that he stated his response to her in a clear and serious manner. "Uhmm, no. I Am not going with you at all lady... I Don't know you at all, and you have some kind of nerves to demand that I do as you said."
"Please, I am the easiest and only way that you get to walk with us unharmed, I can assure you of that. But, with the emporor and his custodes guards, you'd be having a second thought."
"The emporor. Look lady I don't know you, nor do I care who this emporor is. Therefore I'm not going anywhere with you people!" Ko said voicing his defiance against this erda in pure contempt.
Kacey who can clearly sense the hostility between ko and these lady erda, could tell that heat was about to rise even higher. Therefore she butt in interrupting erda before she could even make a response to ko.
"Ko, we should get going for the meet up with the others. You know, before we are late." Kacey says hoping that he would at least catch the drift that she was saving him.
Seeing what she was attempting through her words, ko immediately accepted her offer whereas he happily pretended along with her. "Of course, say where are they at now?"
Erda, observing the two depart, aimed to persist in her endeavor and moved forward with her two companions.
However, when she does, she notice a thunderhawk, not one, not two but three of them descending from uptop of the sky.
"No. I told them not to show up yet!" Uttered Erda in pure bitterness at the sudden appearance of who she tried to keep out of the prying eyes of the people of this time.
"Looks like your wish to keep our face from exposure to these civilians has been broken my lady." Xanfer let out as she watched four members of the custodians walking out of the thunderhawks hangar.
"My lady, look." Leetu pointed out where erda and Xanfer saw ko and Kacey hopping into the woman's car.
"This is exactly what I was trying to avoid. If only that foolish boy could've heeded my words." A Disappointed erda said knowing she couldn't prevent this from happening...
