His words rang out across the area as if a town's bell, and everyone's eyes widened in disbelief.
The crowd fell utterly silent and looked at Hector for whatever response he had.
"Why would I disrespect one of the potential soldiers that will be fighting with me?" Hector muttered with an impassive face.
Everyone understood the underlying meaning of his words, and some couldn't help but agree.
Bael looked way too fresh and unblemished for someone suited for the war.
Hearing him, Bael tilted his head and asked with a faint smile, "As you judge one's abilities based on their appearance, how does it make sense you put someone scared above someone who is not?"
