A few moments later, Rion mumbled with a slightly red face, "What were you doing?"
Dora pressed her face into his chest, wrapped her hands around him and whispered in a low voice, "I was cooking for you..."
"Oh?" His brows rose in surprise, and he muttered, "Who was the one to teach you?"
A vein throbbed at Dora's forehead, and she grumbled, "Are you calling me bad at cooking?"
Rion, who had watched his father deal with his mother from the day he was born, understood the warning. He dug his face into her head and mumbled, "I love you so much..."
Dora felt her heart skip a beat, but she was just as stubborn as he was. "Are you trying to dodge my question?"
An imaginary bead of sweat rolled down his face, and he stated, "I am not."
She bit him and hissed, "You are!"
"Nuh uh." He did everything but agree.
She also stopped pressing him any further, and they stood embracing each other for a few more minutes.
