"You wanted to see me," I said, stepping into the small office Kelly had converted into a makeshift investigation room, boxes of old Veil documentation stacked along one wall.
"Max said something about needing your help specifically."
"Mine and yours, actually," Kelly said, gesturing to the seat beside Ariston. "We've got a situation, and I think between the two of you, you're the closest thing we have to expertise on how the Veil actually organized itself beneath Quinn."
Ariston already had files spread across the table, his expression carefully neutral in the way I'd learned meant he was working hard to stay composed.
"Show her," he said to Max, who pulled up the account activity on the main screen.
I studied the pattern for a moment, the careful, structured transactions, small enough to avoid easy detection. "This looks organized. Deliberate."
