Chapter 911 - Big Foot

Rufus's attacks were precise, elegant, and had a wide range, but their drawback was insufficient power.

Now, it wasn't like the first day's competition rules where merely hitting an opponent scored points; instead, one had to defeat them.

Out of the ten targets of this attack, five directly dodged, and four were injured but could still move.

Only Viya of Dragons Treasure fell unconscious.

This meant that this magnificent move only earned one point.

Immediately after, his true body and the illusions he deliberately created to interfere with others' judgment were both enveloped by golden lightning.

After a flash of lightning and thunder, Rufus lay on the largely destroyed rooftop, smoke rising from his body.

Laxus, on the other hand, stood in his original position, arms crossed, his coat fluttering.

"Rufus has fallen! Laxus has scored a point for Fairy Tail Team B!" Chapati's live commentary was incredibly fast; due to the complex battle situation, he barely had time to breathe.

"At the same time, a victor has been decided on the other side. Blue Pegasus's TriMen's team defeated Arana and Beth, but they are about to encounter the swarm of red monstrous birds summoned by Rhodes! Moreover, Erza and Gray of Fairy Tail Team A are also closing in on that street!

"Toby and Yuka of Lamia Scale defeated Silas of Dragons Treasure, but it seems they've been bitten by strange insects emerging from underground! It's Rhodes's Stone Beetles!

"Lyon encountered a group of ghosts, Kagura slew two large toads, and Millianna encountered Jenni and Yerol of Shining Sun! The battle is getting more and more intense!

"Oh dear, it seems Laxus has been targeted!"

Because Rufus was too ostentatious, not only Rhodes's group but also Risley of Mermaid Heel had targeted him.

However, Laxus's movements were too fast; by the time she climbed the wall of the tall building using gravity magic, the battle was already over.

But Risley did not retreat; instead, she circled to Laxus's back on the side of the building, jumped onto the rooftop, and kicked towards Laxus's back:

"Don't underestimate..."

Boom!

Golden lightning descended from the sky, striking Risley down. She smashed through the rooftop and then through another floor before stopping.

Laxus looked down and said, as if continuing the conversation, "I won't underestimate my opponents again."

Risley's hair was curled, smoke rose from her body, and after a few twitches, she passed out.

Since she was an acquaintance, Rhodes casually cast a healing spell and chuckled, "She probably meant to say, 'Don't underestimate plump people.'"

Laxus didn't say anything; a plump opponent was still an opponent.

"Cat Restraint!"

"Ah!"

A rope-like tube, resembling a reddish-brown cat's tail, shot towards Jenni, binding her and her lollipop staff together.

Jenni immediately fell to the ground: "I can't use magic! Sister Yerol, be careful!"

"Leave it to me, Demon Armor!" Yerol finished her re-equip. A metal-lustered vest, metal boots, a face mask, and sharp claws appeared on her, making her look exactly like Mira's Satan Soul mechanical form.

She bypassed Jenni, her sharp claws reaching for Millianna's shoulder.

Millianna performed several back handsprings in a row, evading Yerol's attack, as agile as a cat.

She remembered the Demon Subjugation Hall battle; Yerol's re-equip was very powerful, and a head-on confrontation would be disadvantageous.

Yerol pursued her, swinging her hands for two more claw attacks, but Millianna dodged both.

So she retreated a few steps, preparing to free Jenni from her restraints.

However, Millianna didn't want her to succeed. She pushed her hands forward, and a magic circle appeared: "Cat Double Barrel!"

Two rope-like tubes extended forward in a spiral, like two round nets, aiming to cover Yerol.

Yerol had to roll to the side, escaping the attack range.

"Wuwuwu..." Jenni sounded a bit wronged because the ropes landed on her, adding two more layers of restraint. She was now completely transformed into a caterpillar.

"Such troublesome magic," Yerol complained, her battle boots crushing the ground as she instantly rushed in front of Millianna, punching towards her face.

"So fast!"

Just as Millianna was about to dodge, a small, colorful vortex suddenly appeared before her eyes.

From the center of the vortex, two small hands wearing white silk gloves reached out, grabbing Millianna and Yerol's faces, one on each side!

"Uh—" Neither of them had anticipated this sudden attack. They instinctively tried to grab the hands and pull back forcefully.

"It seems this young lady arrived just in time?"

A female voice emerged, and the vortex suddenly expanded and grew larger.

A woman in a blue cheongsam emerged from it, her upper body twisting. She performed a spin in mid-air, then, using the strength of her arms, she pinched Millianna and Yerol's faces, flinging them each half a circle, one to the left and one to the right.

With two thuds, Yerol and Millianna respectively smashed through the walls on opposite sides of the street and fell into the houses.

"Sister Yerol?!" The immobile Jenni exclaimed, recognizing the person, "You are, Minerva of Sabertooth?"

Minerva was displeased with Jenni's tone. She raised her left hand and enveloped her in a colorful spherical space: "Has no one told you to use honorifics when speaking to your seniors?"

Jenni didn't answer, her face turning green from holding her breath.

The space enveloping her made her feel as if a small mountain was pressing on her chest, completely unable to breathe.

"Let go of Jenni!" Yerol crashed out of the hole in the wall, her metal claws extended, charging directly at Minerva's neck.

"Hmph~" Minerva scoffed through her nostrils, a small colorful ball appearing in her right palm, easily catching Yerol's steel claws.

"Whether or not I let her go is this young lady's business, depending on this young lady's mood. As for you, you're just this young lady's score!"

The colorful ball suddenly expanded, releasing a fierce impact that completely engulfed Yerol, pushing her back into the residential building.

After smashing through the entire house, it continued to push her into the houses in the row behind.

Yerol was buried in the rubble, dust covering the hole in the wall.

"Cat Restraint!"

Millianna was somewhat injured and emerged a bit later, but she unhesitatingly launched an attack at Minerva.

However, Minerva easily neutralized her move as well, encompassing Millianna in an explosive space with a wave of her hand.

The rumbling explosions only ceased when Millianna lost consciousness.

Minerva looked at the emblem revealed beneath Millianna's tattered cloak: "Is it the kitten from Mermaid Heel? Just what I needed."

With a flick of her wrist, Millianna was swallowed by the colorful space and vanished.

Then she looked at J, pondering for a moment: "This one has no value."

Just as she was about to end the battle, a size 44 foot imprinted itself on her face.

Minerva's face instantly deformed, her head dragging her body as she flew backward, smashing through a window, breaking a set of tables and chairs, and embedding herself in the floor.

Rhodes appeared where Minerva had been standing, scuffed his shoe, squatted down to release Jenni's restraints, and then cast a healing spell.
